Funny Thing... and Watching The Sunset

Just after I signed off yesterday, I heard a truck.  

Two big guys dropped this off;  pallet and all.. in the front yard.  

My phone dinged at some point and it was a notification to let

me know it had been delivered.  

Wow.  

I snapped this photo and texted it to Myguy.

Guess what came?!!! 

He texted back... " new shower doors I ordered!"  

me:  lolololololol ummm nooooooooo 

it's your new desk! 

long silence. 

hahahahah ohhhmygoodness

That desk has such good reviews 

except for one thing.  

It's really freakin hard to put together. lololol

Really heavy too... poor man had to use the tractor to get it into the shop last night. 

I have a hunch it's gonna be awhile before we have a desk. lolol  

I'm wiping tears just writing that. lolol  oh goodness!

Happily.... Myguy did get to come home early last night.  

That's not the case usually.  

We were sooo hoping that no one else would be up at the bluff.  

Our leaves are just beginning to think about turning.  

But it was a gorgeous drive and really is getting some cooler.  

Then Myguy's phone rang.  (work)

My heart sunk a little coz many times we've had to turn around 

and go back over change of plans.  The joy of having a business.  

We had to pull over so he wouldn't lose the call and seemed like it took forever 

but ...  he didn't have to leave thankfully.  And once we got to the pull off... no other vehicle was there! 

We were both sooo happy.  

This is the beginning of the short trail.  

Isn't it pretty?  

Had to stop and admire the flowers.  

Such a pretty shade of purple.  

One area has all this graffiti.  

Why?  How come?  

Someone even spray painted on some of the trees right there.  

Not cool.  

Never deface anything.

You pack it in,... you pack it back out.  

Leave nothing but your footprints. 

Those are like nature commandments.   

This is the view up there.  You can walk around a ways... Gotta be really careful though coz

there are some good drop offs.  

We had soooo much fun.  

My man is hilarious and it felt good to 

get out and play together.  

We spent a good hour and a half waiting for the sun to set. 

Time to talk and catch up on us.  

Then this started happening... 

It was .... 

glorious.  

These were all snapped on my cellphone with 

pure God glory.  

It's crazy  how fast it happens.  

You don't  want to look away for even a moment.  

Oh my goodness.... 

then it's gone.

I sign off with a scripture picture from the night.  

Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You.
