Things have been so busy this last week, and with the garden taking off now; there's been some very long days. The seeds were all sprouted so I could finally tell where everything was planted and could start weeding. The grass had grown so much around here that I even had to weedeat in between the garden rows. While doing so; I realized my time had been getting all spent in the garden, and new greenhouse. .........Instead of getting up and first thing reading my bible, I was putting it off to the end of the day and ... then I'd be so tired... - well you can guess what started happening. One morning I woke up earlier than usual and I knew I needed to get in the word. I found myself back on my life verse. ...
---... Deuteronomy 6:5
And thou shalt love
the LORD thy God
with all thine heart,
and with all thy soul,
and with all thy might.
Reading on.... it says this: " And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."
...... picking up a permanent marker I wrote this scripture on the doorpost of the little greenhouse at the Shabby Olde Potting Shed- inside... and out. It still needs paint on the exterior... but when I do... I'll rewrite this verse right there. I hope seeing it every day..... reminds me how easy it is to make idols without even realizing it and that I want to put God first not last.

Lea, this is beautiful. Love how the Lord works through you....I left a comment on your last posting of your shed. My computer is doing crazy things so I cannot post like I want. Hopefully, this issue can be resolved soon! Blessings, dear friend....you always make my day~~~Roxie
I can't wait to see this, Lea. What a sweet idea - just like YOU!
That is a great idea to write that out. It is very easy to not read the Word when we wait until the end of the day. I find that I am too tired to think on it. But starting out and ending our days in the word is good.
Really beautiful.
Wonderful Idea...♥
