Random Gratitudes June 6

Finding joy in small  things...
Nasturtium seeds sown and saved-
new twine on the ready to help up a heavy tomato vine or wayward blackberry cane.
2 gravel rocks given with such love from my grandgirl... "Look Grammy it's a heart."
ball jar bouquet of fresh-picked roses, raspberrys, susies, salvia and daisies.
These little things all make me happy.

Refrigerator covered in  Blakeleabear art

Digging out the old Spirograph and
making beautiful designs together.

Playing Candyland over n over and
over again.
:)

The dogs excitement when they hear the  first kernels
of "potcorn" pop on the stove.

corgi kisses from my Rosie girl-
doggie slobber love.

Cuddling with her after church
... simply enjoying  a lazy Sunday afternoon while
Daisy snores in the nook.

Hot coffee in this mug Merry Bema gave me long ago.
Smiling every time I see it.
Spirit and Flora Jane... come true.

First zinnia bloomer in the antique iron flower bed.
Sweet, beautiful imperfection.

Using this old, chippy table  almost every day the sun shines.
Myguy pullin up a clamshell chair to talk about the day we each had.

This very special picture made by a lady from church.

And this sign finally hung above our doors.

Porch swingin with my sweetheart at the end of
a long day.

Having our hay cut, raked and wrapped up without
getting rained on.

Cardboard laid around squash plants and old hay
mulched ontop. Less weeds.

Munching fresh peas, raspberries and juliet tomatoes.

Eyes checked, and new glasses to see better-

first sun tea of summer
fresh milled flour...

Evening walk together ...
Deer watching

Finishing all  our classes.

Reading the last chapter in our book and
listening to Myguy read scripture outloud at bedtime.

Finding the little ironstone pitcher at a yardsale below...
and loading her up with flowers: oxalis, and forget-me-nots.

I sign off with a scripture picture using the yard sale pitcher of flowers.

And he answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself."  Luke 10:28

Until we meet again,
