Random Gratitudes....

Companionship digging out Christmas decorations.

Munching Peppermint bark ... one a day until gone.

The sweet mundanes.... 

stripping the bed, 

removing down comforter from cocoa stained duvet...

washing, hanging out the wash on a warm, breezy day...

the.... over and over and over agains- gifts

cleaning toilets, sweeping floors, and so glad I have it all to do.

home sweet  home.... 

frying  chicken, peeling potatoes , making gravy, heating green beans... 

Dishing it up... handing it to the rough, calloused  hands I love...

Climbing into a fluffy, crisp bed...

with a new throw on top-

the nativity.

rest... sweet rest.  

Interaction with a stranger at our little post office. 

A lesson of love and  community.
