A few random blessings from this week...
Finding so much beauty in imperfect blooms and
often little critters too... like this tiny baby
praying mantis.
The guys actually made it off work early enough
for us to make it to the fireworks show.
-A night out was so good for our souls.
Got to gather at a friends place and watch from his
backyard. It was so fun.
Michelle braided my hair that night and it felt so good..
There's nothin like havin someone mess with your hair...
I could have almost fallen asleep.
She is so loving and I'm so grateful for her.
Then Blakelea said I looked like Anna...
(kids... they say the funniest things)
But I'll still take it and hang it in my gratitudes all day long. lol
Bringing her home after the fireworks show...
Slumber party.
And this...
a pretty blue rosary!
The deer that I already shared earlier....
and today I saw Mama again...
Getting up early Sunday morning to have time in the Word before
Papa and Blake woke up.
A friend who texted about then and and we had a "cheers" moment together
as she was doing the same thing.
This beautiful terrapin.
Look at the ridges and pattern in that shell.
What an Artist.
Capturing moments like this...
and loving them both more and more and more.
Hearing her say
"Hold still Francois you have to be a princess too."
"Hold still Francois you have to be a princess too."
Dirty dishes in the sink....
and pile of laundry in front of the washer....
Getting my priorities straight coz people matter more and
some things can wait.
spaghetti... spaghetti... spaghetti....
Next bible study from she reads truth...
Psalms
Rain and not having to water....
Loads and loads of zucchini.
More zucchini...
And still more zucchini.
A long nap snuggling heart to heart.
Thank you God for all these things and so much more...
thank you for my every thing.

Oh Lea, so many beautiful things to journal and treasure. Did you have the fireworks for 4 July or is that a different celebration? I am sure it was super to have a family gathering and a lot of fun. Your hair is gorgeous in the braids!!

Hi Jean...
Yes the fireworks were for the fourth of July. Our little hometown always has their show a few days beforehand. It's really amazing how big it is; I bet you'd love it.
Oh thank you .. Michelle really does a good job braiding. Blakelea is in dance so she started learning all that to fix her hair.
