Petal Play and Sweet Light

 I know it's crazy... but
petal play is ... kind of addicting.
It's just simple fun... kind of like rock art.  Only more colorful.   If you've never tried it you should give it a go.
While you're at it look up the hashtag #petalart on Instagram.
You don't have to have a garden to do it... use woodlands...
leaves and sticks in your backyard.  Some people use a tweezers
because it's crazy how easy those little petals stick to your fingers.
I can't wait to do this with Blakelea... she'll love it.
It's just something creative  to do.... and sure to put a smile
on your face.

When I finish, there is always a pretty platter full of leftovers.
Looks good enough to eat doesn't it?
Well.. the peas and nasturtiums anyways... numnum!

Well... today marked the end of Ecclesiastes for me.
I can't remember what the next study is .... -- okay it is called
Women and Men in the Word.  I did peek already... and it looks really good.
I also ordered my  next audio book... Thomas Merton The Seven Storey Mountain.

Not sure who the  next saint will be...
Someone else who kept a diary.... maybe?

I sign off with one of my last evenings fishing.
I have been so taken with light and capturing it... even chasing it for a shot.
Especially in the woods looking up through trees and sunlight.
In Ecclesiastes it says:
Light is sweet, and it is pleasing for the eyes
to see the sun.
Isn't that just beautiful?
Until we meet again,
<*(((><

I think petal art is just perfect for Blakelea being a garden girl she will have so much fun gathering petals and leaves!!!

It also shows how we don't need to have a lot of art materials to "create" just use what is around us in the everyday.

Blessings

Hey Jeanie! Yeah... I can't wait to do something like that with her. She loves to "gather" anyways... especially feathers so she'll have fun. I always let her pick any flower she wants... coz we have so many but that makes it hard when she goes home. lol Coz her folks of course don't want her to pick them blind. haha Ohhh well... what happens at grammys stays at grammys right?
