Good Stuff....

When your son stops to get the cookies you promised after work
and says, "Well, what are ya doin...got time to fish?"
The laundry... it  can just dry on the clothesline a little longer and
that bed will still get done up with those sweet smellin sheets. Supper will still
get finished because I've never known none of us to starve.. even a little bit.
This pandemic has been teaching me to go with the flowwwww...
and take the time for the good things ..-the people that matter most.
Any of you noticing that you're lookin at life differently?
I sure am.

The sky was soooo  blue.  Just look at it in the reflection of the water. ...
We had a bullfrog chorus to boot and those dragonflies... they darted
to and fro ...  as if to say, "I'm all around you... you better be feelin my love!"
And... I sure did.
 All over the place!

And if you've visited the shed before;  you probably  know by now .... it seems there is always a story to be told around here.   Trent; he tossed one line out trying to catch a cat... and he left it lay.  Then
he walked around to my side using a crank bait on another line.
That's when we heard it.... those jolly jingle bells on his far pole.  The end of his line wiggled a little
and then it all just stopped.  We picked up where we left off talkin movies, if we'd want to ever go noodling,
plans to go kayak fishin, - .. and then wham!!... lol
His jingle bells on that highfalutin fishin pole of his sounded like Christmas time!
That fancy pole was only just leanin up against his tacklebox and it started
movin.... -- you know... as in headed for the pond?  haha  Look at that guy round that bank doing about 90!  We laughed and cheered so loud you'd have thought we were at the
world series.
 (On the winning side)   :)
 And he saved it!!
Ohmygosh....
I bet as much as he paid for that fishin pole he'd probably went in after it
if he had to.  haha
---See... I would not have wanted to miss  this smile for nothin.
This is  the good stuff in life.

Then later some of this happened.
I was tellin Francois what a good boy he is..... look at him just all out ... gush!
He's so happy.
A little uplifting... a little encouragement sometimes...
Does wonders don't it?
Works for us humans too... yall know it does.

 And then there is this.
Seeds.
Not only seeds... but Japanese Indigo seeds.  I received them  from a gal on Etsy and
look how the fronts of the envelopes are colored!!!
How super sweet ... !
Talk about happy mail.

They are planted and watered and I have visions of
dyeing fabric and lace and papers... indigo blue with the plants.
Oh I hope they grow...
Time will tell!!
Till  we meet again...

Smiles all round yay!!!! What a way to start the day to see those beautiful smiles and little Francois aww!!.He is such a good boy.

Isn't it amazing to think that you can sow seeds that will grow into a plant that you can use for dyeing and in a gorgeous colour like indigo blue. How cool is that!

Thank you for sharing your day Lea....always a joy.

Jeanie!.. I know that you being a dog person.. would see those smiles would melt you too on Francies face. It's funny how dogs have such personality. I find myself taking more photos of these furbabies these days.. they're getting so old and I'm grateful for every day I get to have them.

Yes... to indigo blue dye/ink! I sure hope they grow. I've never planted seeds by just tamping them in a tad.. I want so badly to get that dye outta of those leaves. I've been researching the art of dyeing.. and it's fascinating. I wish I could talk to Lydia of Thyatira.... I want to make purple cloth just like she did.
