The rains stopped for awhile today and this is our
garden of weedin.
The rabbits left a few greenbeans for us and everything else is doing
alright ... but the grass throughout the whole thing is
doing "alright" too.
Gonna be fun isn't it?!
It'll all be ok...
It's just the same way you eat an elephant...
one bite at a time.
I'm just thankful I have a tiller instead of
just a hoe.
Most of the peonies are now spent and many of the roses
are withering away as well.
I can't help but see so much beauty in the fading blooms.
There is very much something to be said for
brokenness.
And things don't have to be perfect to
still be beautiful.
To me,
the ragged places ... just
have a story to tell.
Over Mother's day weekend I did manage to get a big bouquet
taken to the cemetery before they were all gone.
It's become a special tradition of May.
I also brewed the first suntea of the year.
Making it on the hood of the olde Chevy seems to
have also become a thing.
I tried to take a video while at the pond to add here tonight
but it hasn't finished downloading apparently.
If it works, I'll add it tomorrow.
Until then... I sign off with a
scripture picture of the clematis blooming.
I hope this is a "this" year's photo... I got them mixed up.
"Guide me in your truth, and teach me for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long." Psalm 25:5
Until we meet again,

Beautiful roses and a beautiful bouquet and a darling little corgi awww...
It is such a treat to come visit and see your garden growing though I can imagine a lot of work.
At all times we need hope but especially now and it is good to know our hope is in God our Saviour.
Blessings and Joy.
OH Lea.... how lovely... I enjoy seeing your photos and reading your posts.
What a lovely garden you have.
Thanks for the post.. You brightened my day.
Dawn
Hi Jeanie... thanks for visiting the shed... you're right it is a lot of work out here.. but I'm reminding myself that weeds and grass can just grow sometimes. The older I get ... the more mellow I seem to be about it all. I guess that just comes with aging. Have a wonderful day friend. You are such a blessing to me. Lea
Oh Dawn,... you are very kind... and I too love seeing your gardens. It's probably thawed for good up there and you'll be planting like crazy! My flowers will be spent and yours will be in full kabloom!
