I took this photo last night of our house while a big storm was brewing.
Today it became this scripture picture with the Lord's prayer.
So many words in this simple prayer speak to my heart today.
---Not long after snapping this picture, our electricity went out.
Our thermometer read 106 yesterday but thankfully the storm cooled things off a little.
It was still hot though.. and hard to get to sleep.
I wonder how many times; without thinking we flipped the lightswitch?
Praise God the power came back on this morning.
Maybe... in more ways than one. ;)
For thine is the kingdom,
AND THE POWER, and the glory,
forever, Amen.
Holykisses, xoxo

You had no comments, but this was next so I just had to write you. We have had several storms with a lot of rain this week and I remembered that you said you needed rain. I asked God to send you some rain like we were getting and I do believe He answered my prayer. Praise God and thank You for answering my prayer and the prayers prayed by Lea. Amen.
I seem to be praying more and more with those popup storms that can bend a tree way over near the house. I walk around talking to the lord, thanking him for various things, AC, home, car, "toilet"... yes, even that.
I pray the lord will keep you all safe in his care.
Hello Lea, I am so glad you have power again and that the storm has cooled things a bit. 106 is nearly double what it is here, and yet walking today was warm for me and doggie.
I am thinking about you.
Thank you for lifting me up and being my burden bearer.
Love Jeanie

Aloha Lea,
I am so happy that the Lord brought you rain. We must of been having sympathy power outages. My power went out as well!!!! I got a giggle when you mentioned flipping the switch by habit!!! We lose out water here when the power goes out as well. So many little things that are so easy to take for granted. Well when you have to take your PAYING guest to the river so they can bathe you are so mindful to thank the Lord for HIS power and provisions. Beeg hugs to you my friend Love, Paula
Sure hope things cool off soon...106 is scary.
