Working outdoors yesterday, I met this beautiful creature.
It climbed onto my hand; so I just sat down and held it for awhile.
There was so much more to this moth than it's injuries.
It was strong!
Unafraid.
And kept going.
When life gets hard and worry tries to set in, --I hope I remember this encounter.

You really need to put all these scripture posts into a book of some sorts, they are amazing and so perfect!!!
I think your beauty-ful moth is a Cecropia moth??Not sure about the spelling either. But one time my son and I found a HUGE cocoon. We put it in our bug barn and put twigs and grass and a dish of water in there with 'it.' We were homeschooling then, so it was a fun project (I'd still do it!) One day, while we were doing math (our most unfavorite subject!) our little fellow decided to come out! We watched with awe as it unfolded and hung on a twig. We knew not to help it or touch it. It felt like a miracle to see. After he was all dry and resting, we gently took him outside and let him walk on us and get warm in the sun. I have pictures of my son holding him. Then~he flew away. It was one of those lovely moments I have tucked away in my memory...
Your Scripture photo is lovely too, and it really made my day to see this, Lea-thank you!
Love, Debra
ps-sorry this is so long!
I was thinking the same thing as Sue. What a beautiful book these would make, Lea. I felt your heart in this picture and verse. To see strength in weakness is to see with God's eyes. Thank you so much for this. I needed this whisper of Grace today!
Once again..YOU have touched my SOUL!!
I needed to be reminded in my trials...my uncertainties...my weaknesses...to
BE STRONG
UNAFRAID
And to just KEEP GOING!!
Love it!
Love YOU!!
THANK YOU JESUS for using Lea in such a powerful way in MY LIFE!
Amen!
