Choosing 5 random things I'm thankful for, is both easy and hard at the same time. I'm so blessed, and could write for hours as I count them all. The hard part is sharing only 5.
This Thursday, my random 5 begins with:
~friendship.~ Friends old and new; some- I've never even met in person; yet,.... our paths have crossed with purpose. Bloggy friend Phyllis of Blissitydoodah is one of such blessings. She sent me this awesome bottle and all these fun vintage trinkets and tags to create something new, and it just blew me away. I'm thankful for such a beautiful surprise, but more importantly her friendship. Thankyou Phyllis for your gift of friendship!
I've been here at the Shabby Olde Potting shed for a year now. I noticed the sitemeter says over 17,058 visits have now been made to the shed since created on May 29th, 2008. That's alot of new friends, from countries all over the world. Yall have showered me with love, encouragement, and shared in my journey. Many of you have prayed for me, and I humbly thank you with all my heart.
Every time you leave comments, emails and sign my guestbook I nearly do a cartwheel. I just love getting to "see your beautiful faces" every single day on the slide!
Yall are my blessings; which means counting you ALL, we've already slightly went over our random 5. heehee I'm blowing you all smoochy holykisses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love yall!
My next random blessing: Having a spot to just sit, and be still. Watching "On Dragonfly Pond," makes me happy!
Next random Blessing: A place to worship. How many times have I been "too tired," to go to church? How many times do I find excuse to "not go." How many times have I complained? Yet; I know, it's a great privilege to assemble together!
Another random Blessing: Art, crafts, creativity. I'm so happy when I'm making "something, --anything!"
Cutting, gluing, stamping, soldering, painting, sewing, card-making.... it all tickles my fancy!
Random Blessing: This clothesline. I'm addicted to fresh sheets. Love stiff bluejeans, and towels. Love carrying them to the line, love taking my time pinning them up, and anticipate taking them down. Fresh, clean- country air with the sweet smell of wild honeysuckle. Mmmm!
Random Blessing. I know I've gone way over. I can't help myself. But on the 28th, Abraham will turn 9 years old. My olde, faithful, beloved friend. Where I go, he goes; especially in my truck. (In the cab of course.) He slobbers on my seats, and goobers up my windows. But he is so worth it! My shadow, my friend ... who has me wrapped around his little paw.
Guess I better stop. I'm blessed, and thankful for these sweet gifts and so many more.
Thank you Father God. I know:
Every good and perfect gift comes from above. James 1: 17

What a beautiful list. I absolutely love your dog-friend. I have two precious ones myself. I wish I could sit with you in those chairs in front of that peaceful view.
