November Thanks Givings

pitterpatter of little feet
no longer alone
faithful friends
so warm

5:59 to
6:32
Marvel
awe....
so God

sweet dreams
the kind you wish you could stay inside awhile
longer

early morning fog
thick and cold

husband home from work - two root canals
shared homemade wheat bread toast
real butter

hold hands and pray at the door ...
eased nerves

34 degrees  ... no freeze
flowers may linger longer

early morning rooster song-
serenade by Foghorn Leghorn

back n forth text
with a friend about our devotional

Her tomato sauce text that reminds me to
open Emily and begin my own morning pages...

Dear Emily who keeps secrets and listens
without judgement

Ordinary household tasks ...
sweep, mop muddy dog prints
pretty vacuum lines...

Phil Wickham's Hymn of Heaven...

Bringing the warm rustic woods inside...

finding a heart

Getting intentional walk in to get the camera cards

Stopping here awhile...
my pew

at the cathedral in the woods

Peaceful ... and quiet
I could hear leaves falling...

husband home
getting to baby and love on him

cream of chicken soup
with crackers his favorite

hearing him snore on the couch

finding beauty in ordinary moments
but nothing ordinary at all

rather extraordinary...

eyes to see
heart to feel
the so much of everything

clothesline full of laundry
these hands to do it
stiff towels tonight
thirsty
rough
back scratchers

beef stew simmering on the stove
homemade bread thawing on the counter...
all gifts...

<*))))><
