Remembering To Forget Me Not

the last forget-Me-nots picked from my garden this week
Visual reminder  to:

"remember"  God's goodness.'

There is so much of God's goodness all around us.
I pray to see it ... to notice...and be grateful.
To not forget!
Funny how even all the little joys enrich my life so much.
There's so much happening that we can't even see.....
And things we see... often go un-noticed or un-recognized.

I'm thankful today for my family and friends..
for our provisions and work we get to do.

I'm thankful for our health and wellness.

I'm thankful for this olde shed.

I'm thankful I got to sing  happy birthday with Blakelea to my very own daughter-
and agreeing we're dropping the inlaw part
and also Mikes Mom ... singing to her over the phone.
I'm thankful they were created... --  My life would sure be different had they not been.

I'm thankful for the song: Good God Almighty (by Crowder)
The lyrics that remind me saying: I can't count for the times I've called Your name some broken night
and You showed up and patched me up like You do every time...
I get  amnesia, I forget that You keep coming around,
there aint no way You've ever let me down...
Good God almighty I hope You find me
praising Your name no matter what comes...
coz I know where I'd be without Your mercy so I keep praisin
Your name at the top of my lungs...
so tell me Is He good? He's Good... Is He God? He's God...
He is good  God almighty.....

for a little "simple" word that in all it's various forms
keeps repeating somehow?
And ... crushing my October walking goals
this bracelet is on it's way to my farmhouse:

I'm thankful for an  afternoon walk with my girls....
what a treat that was  and we
even stirred a big buck out of the thicket that we all
got to see. Amazing!!!

-For the joy that I got to make this big bowl
of chocolate covered strawberries for
Michelle's birthday treat.

For homemade frito chili pie on our first really cold night!

For the first night turning our heater on... it felt so dadgum good!

Seeing Myguy's eyes light up when he saw the pumpkin bread I made just for him.

-Stirring love and prayers right into  the batter.

-For a  comfy brown sweatshirt
called "wren"

-watching Fiona run and buck while
Blakelea rode Blue.

-Nesting for cold weather...
freshing up down comforters inside duvet's,
putting down heavier rugs and
candles all lit up when he comes home.

How Myguy notices pretty changes and always
comments and seems to love it.

Sinking into eachother's arms when he gets home.

Hitting the snooze button for two more minutes of cuddle time
May I never take him nor these sweet moments for granted.

How he drilled holes in our shower head so we can now have
the best hot shower ever.

A message from a lady I've never met who
wants to learn how to watercolor.
Our little chats and the joy of sharing stories.
How our words of the day often trickle
right out of our bible studies.

For muddy paws and tracking in and water drips three feet from
the waterbowl... - all worth it
for two great furry friends.
Companions.
For long patience...
Because this girl as a puppy nearly drove me crazy-
Now... she's sticking to me like glue.
She's my little Gorilla glue.
I'm so thankful ...

I could write forever today.
But laundry needs washed and hung on the line.
And those floors don't clean themselves.
I'm grateful for all of it!
Hoping if I get done early ... maybe there'll be time to dip a worm or two.
I hope you too find a little time to relax today...
and "remember."

Thank you for stopping by the olde shed and spending your precious
time with me.  I'm grateful for you.
Each and every one who reads this.
I'm grateful our paths crossed.
I pray today that you be encouraged and lifted up.
If you are going through trials and hardships... I pray you find strength,
healing, and see God's goodness in your life.
You're loved.

Until we meet again,
<*)))><

Thank you for sharing your days Lea, your pictures and your words..... your pumpkin bread looks great and the image of the ponies racing, the warmth and love in everything, in God's goodness.

Walking along the paths as the leaves are softly falling, the smell of woodsmoke and squirrels scurrying from tree to tree. The little things in our everyday that mean the most.

Thank You Lord for our paths that crossed......Blessings and Joy
