Thy Prayer Closet... Creating A Sacred Place Part 2

Hi friends,
Thought I'd share a few things I've added to this space.
I finally found a place for the little sign I made long ago.
Trying to find a nail around here was unreal!  I finally
found two in the old possum belly.  Then I couldn't find a hammer
and had to use the back of my hatchet.  Oh goodness!!!
At any rate... I survived and the signs up.

I added this little plaque that Father Geditz gave me
when I was confirmed.  That was what 45ish years ago?

Then I added this other bottle and
Soli Deo Gloria to it.
I am loving old bottles these days and enjoy taking the time
to add fresh flowers to them for this space.
I only had a remnant of a rosary...  Honestly I don't really know if it's complete.
I think I got it at a flea market.
Years ago my son Tony had given me a cross necklace.  The chain broke,
so I added it to this rosary piece.  Then I brought this small bible out here.
Myguy gave it to me years ago .....
and... it's small enough to keep on this prayer bench.
 Then I added this angel.
I'd given it to my Mama a long time ago.
The heart rocks just felt right nestled on moss in  the terracotta basin.
I had one battery operated candle that still works.
It went in the little hanging lantern and up on a nail.
I'm anxious to turn it on tonight.

Well thanks for visiting the shed today...
That you spent your time with me means alot!!!!!!
Have a beautiful rest of your day...
Until we meet again!

Good morning Lea, isn't technology wonderful, that I get to see your special place and the way you have created it all....I love the way the light is coming in through the windows. It has all come together so beautifully. The bottle is such an unusual shape and is also catching the light!! The angel on moss with the rock hearts is just amazing. I can feel the peace coming through...and at night with the candle glow!!! I am glad you have that special place that you can spend time with our Lord and have His Word there with you.

Thank you for sharing, sooo heartwarming.

You are a Blessing <*(((><

Good morning Jeanie... yes technology sure is! Hard to fathom we can converse with an ocean between us like this.
Thank you for your sweet comment. This little space is even more dear to me right now not havin a church home yet. There's a place in the woods that I call my cathedral but I can't get to it any longer because the woods are overgrown with poison ivy, oak, chiggers and seed ticks now until Fall. I bet you feel Peace as well in your beautiful greenhouse. Thank you for sharing it with me the other day. I love getting to see your happyplaces as well. Have a wonderful day Jeanie! <*(((><
