Savoring Moments

Today's art class was on making a book of  moments.
I'm anxious to start it.
As I listened I remembered the  time I was walking along a  creek and had an aha moment.
The water was moving one way... and my hair was blowing in the breeze the opposite way..
At the same time, I  became  aware of the so many things going on all around me.
It was incredible really.
Every single second things change.
--Yet it's so easy for me to get in the rut of not noticing.
God made everything in all of creation soooo  amazing.
And He said it was good!

So on today's walk I paid more attention.
Listening,
watching,
smelling,
touching,

Tasting  and seeing  that my  Lord is good.
These photos will all go in my book of moments.
Can you see the heart of moss in the bottom photo?
If only I could savor the scent of wild honeysuckle longer.

Good morning Lea, I like the idea of a book of moments, it would go along so well with the "daily examen"

It is so easy to get in the rut of not noticing the small things and focusing too much on the big things that we cannot do anything about. It is unfathomable for our minds to get round all that God created.

When I saw the heart of moss!!!! Squeal!!!! How totally amazing. <*(((><

God Bless and enjoy the moments dear heart.
