Greetings and Holykisses,
It feels so good to be getting back in the habit of stopping to give thanks and share some blessings every week here in Blogland. -- It really is true; once you start... it's hard to stop.
So here I share some gratitudes:
I'm thankful for safe travels this week- especially when driving the interstate which is one of my least favorite things to do.
- I'm thankful for blood, organ, and bone/tissue donors!
- For Zinnias, roses and angel trumpet flowers that seem to be getting a second wind!
- For a God encounter with a stranger on an elevator; who's eyes truly met my own.
- For three powerful words: "God bless you."
-..........And for also getting to witness my Strongheart speak them to another.
-I'm thankful for a late night call from our other son: my music man,- asking me to listen to ... a new song with him: (Now playing on the playlist) ;) Oh thank you God- for such cherished moments.
---For... spoken I love you's...
-- bearhugs and kisses!
-- For praying family and friends.
--For my Sisterchicks, and lessons on forgiveness.
--For getting to see the big ole Harvest Moon!
--and a shared possum pie!
--for Myguy washing the Xterra, and then pressure washin the bugs and webs off the house. Labors of his love!
--for long johns and finding my red flannel reindeer pants!
--for farm fresh eggs
and Wahoo frito chili pie.
For chilly nights and Myguy to snuggle with.
Thank you God for all these things, and so many many more.

My angel trumpets have gotten a second wind too esp. after being eaten by those green tomato monsters! But mine are a bit different, esp the leaves and mine is huge, taller than me and wide, but not wider than me, thank goodness!! lol
Still wondering about the "possum pie"...
...noticing the name "Strongheart" and being encouraged just by the name itself.
We're enjoying the cooler weather here, too.
Enjoyed your thank your gratitudes.
I've been missing you. A lot has happened in our family lately but God is so good.
Blessings, my friend, AE
Praying all is well with you. You always have such a grateful heart, it encourages me. Harvest moon=lovin' too! Possum pie=never ate or even heard of! Recipe??? Red flannels=already?
love ya! Hugs, Heidi
PS love the song
Digging in my flannel drawer looking for my winter wear.... Looking forward to the fall weather...
the word of God tells us that God inhabits the praises of HIS people.... SO that means that a grateful heart is full of GOD.... that has got to be good for us.....
