Nov 6 ..A Few Random Blessings

I'm thankful for today and that I got to see it again.
For Myguy ... for family... and friends.

For friends I know
have been
praying  me through.

For being now 3 weeks into healing..
-that I got my stitches all out-
and it really didn't even hurt much.

To get out and about,
and find  my place again.
"Helpmeet."

For my daughter in law to be-
and her genuine  caring and love.

For beautiful Autumn days ...
and soaking in sunshine.

For protein "ensure" ..
vanilla- my favorite.

For my sister and
long talks on the phone.
Her voice -
a piece of our Momma back to my heart.

For a ride with my son
on the fourwheeler to look at land-
spending time "together."  ... and dreaming out loud.

For the deer rubs we saw.

For the prettiest card from my
sister across the pond.

...new pens, glue, and
glaze- thoughtful blessings
from Peace  Blvd.

For extra time to do art.
while healing and
waiting.

For these big blooms of cotton crysanthemums
from Gardenerwoman.

And that I got to share them
with  her this year.
 For Sonshine of sherbet, and
one  long eared reminder to go ahead...
stop and smell roses.
and for choosing the better thing...
time with Him in the word.
 To have winter hay
ready and waiting...

For these towers of seed
that point me to shuckin a headful of worry.
Matt 6: 25-27
“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?  Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
For this last glimpse of growing
before a night's first freeze
 of the year.

For Ophelia  who's still here...
and discovering Myguy bought her
canned cat food!
Will wonders ever cease?

For the heater that kicked on and worked right.
chasing  away the chill.

For lingering warmth to
tide over these pots
a little while longer.

For holes filled around the chimney
and no more mice.

For a Christmas cactus
in full bloom.

For a friend and my Mil
celebrating another birth day.

For a couple of our oldest friends
and joy of them getting baptized this Sunday!

Thank you God for all these things and so much more.
Thank you for my everything.

And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the booksthat would be written. Amen.

What a joy full post dear Lea. So thankful that you are healing and getting out and about. Your pics are lovely... the chrysanthemums, the sunflower heads, and of course that beautiful wee head smelling the roses awww. Thank you for a little window into your potting shed. Blessings and love x
