New Year, More Love

Week one of a brand new year.
The tree is down, and decorations are all boxed up and put away.
Just yesterday, Myguy took the lights off the house while I unwired the wreath from  the grill on the olde 66 Chevy.
Everything... is put away for another year... and I must admit... I miss it already.
This  manger was the last thing to be carried off the kitchen porch, right  back here to the barn and so I snapped one more photo with my iphone to count in my 1000 Gifts.
....And this verse is how I  want to keep Christmas- by keeping in His love.

Holykisses, xoxo
L

Happy New Year, Lea. Your porch was perfect. What's there now? I know you'll come up with something quirky and sweet again! (And "quirky" to me is WONderful, by the way.)

We may have boxed up the material side of Christmas, but the true spirit remains in our hearts and lives! Happy to see a post!!

I wish everyone would keep their lights up year round but then we would grow accustomed to them and not appreciate the beauty. My apartment looked bland for a few days when I packed my Christmas decor away, but now I am enjoying a less cluttered look.

I love all the decorations of the Season and hate to see them boxed up! In fact, this is the time of year I like to work on next year's new stuff -- it kind of extends the whole season of Chistmas for me. Loved your verse, and it makes for a great goal for the new year. It's so easy to have everything BUT love for Him in our hearts. Life seems to crowd for space until it all becomes nerves, frustration, tension, etc. But to focus on love brings such peace! Stick to it, Lea, because as sure as shootin', it will be tested!!!
