Some Renewing Without Delete

Greetings and Holykisses,

I'm kind of drawn to the etched glass on this olde cupboard door.
The pattern is intricate... and complex yet simple at the same time.
Like thought patterns maybe in our mind and the peeling paint like the many layers that make us uP.

In my journal this morning I wrote about things I'd like to do this year.
There's so many things I want to learn... and change too.
I know God creates us for His purposes and wires us uniquely to "become."
Alot of transformation has to happen for most of us and sometimes I get stuck for awhile.
Like this patterned glass we need to be transparent.  Not wired shut... but open to whatever He has for us and to share Him.
And it's hard sometimes.

I want that good pleasing and perfect will of His.
And to keep growing forward and uP.
So much of this world can suck me in... and holds me back.

To press on, I'm taking a closer look at those things that I'm  wired for.
Like writing... something I love.
Journaling, art journaling, photography, creating and mixed media, gardening... -- so many different things.  More change is needed:  taking a closer look into those things to ditch- like people pleasing, and frettin over what if's.

My mentor introduced me last year to writing without deleting.
If I remember right, she'd  set a timer and just write...
It seems almost dangerous to me because I backspace over everything.  You know coz the people pleasing garbage; worrying what people think-  gets in the way. So in the next few weeks I'm exploring more writing styles, and just braving forward  to click publish.    I pray   mercy will step into all this.....    It's one of my three words.  Coz it brings along  grace and adds to that loving more.

 My time's up.
No deleting.
:)

Have a blessed beautiful day!

I wonder what got you started in that manner...trying to please people. This one mentor friend suggests to replace the bad thing and I have found it surely works.
Whenever ___ pops into my head, I have to insert____ this thought which God approves of instead.

I'm lovin' it, Lea!!!!! Speak the truth in love, tell it like it is, be honest and up front and hang it out there. Yes, you might mess up now and then and some will call you on it. But really, would that be a bad thing? Sometimes we all need a little correction. I used to worry so much about what everyone thought of me --- to the point that everything I wrote sounded fake and blustery. I hated it. It got to the point I didn't even know who I really was anymore. I'm looking forward to this new thing here --- the good, the bad and the ugly all pressing on upward to a new you! Beautiful!!!!
