Saturday Morning

Greetings and Holykisses,

Just a quick post this morning.
Kids will be here soon and I haven't even had a shower yet.
Bacon, and yellowstone eggs await for Myguy and our Strongheart.
Luckycharms and bowls are waiting on the table for the little ones.  (At Allybug's request.)
A fresh pan of blonde brownies is cooling on the bakers counter,
and last night's loaves of apple bread too- but may I just warn you-- Don't ever  use splenda in place of the granulated sugar, when baking apple bread.  Bleck!  I knew it was a big mistake soon as I mixed it together in the bowl.  It was sticky and ... ICKY... lookin.  What a waste.  This morning I cut a small slab to have with my coffee ... ya know... just so's I'd know what I was serving to someone else. lol  -- Doubt I'll be serving it to anyone else.  Thee only thing that helps it along is sprinkling lots and lots of cinnamon sugar on both sides and YES I really did use the real cinnamon sugar to coat the pans.
In a nutshell:  -- my lesson was learned.  No splenda in apple bread.  No no no not ever again.

Opening the word this morning, I found my self in Psalm 145
"I will extol thee, my God, O King; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.  Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.  Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable.  One generation shall praise thy works to another and shall declare thy mighty acts.  I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.  And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness. They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy rightousness.  The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.  The LORD IS good to all: and his tender merices are over all His works.  All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.  They shall speak olf thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.  Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.  The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that are bowed down.  Psalm 145 1-14

My one word today comes to me this morning through a friend:
Grace.  -- Just happens to be one of my words for the year too.  (Thanks chic-ky Char!)
one of my favorite things too.

Okay... the clock is ticking.  Soon a two year old will be into everything.  Ally will be beggin to "do markers" and Carter will be chewing on his fist wanting a bottle, the guys will be waiting for their yellowstone eggs and bacon and I'll be running in circles no doubt.
Have a great and blessed day!
God's good!

My favorite one word sermon is "faithful" We fail HIM over and over but HE is always faithful to us. It is comfort to my soul like a curling up under a hand quilted blanket on a cold winter night. Blessing today my friend.. I got your email and will reply today...

Enjoy those grandbabies while you can because before you know it one is in his second year of college and the other one will soon be 14.
But they still come around once in a while. Enjoy your day.

Yes, God is faithful. I love Him so much.
