Redeemed Scripture Picture

This past week, we were driving in the mountains and came upon this old homeplace.
As we drove passed  this broken down building...I found myself looking as far inside as I could.  Know what I mean?   -Some of you probly do.  I can't even remember now what I said to Myguy.  But this picture got so far in my  head.... maybe my heart too.
"You wanna go back? he asked?"
  "No... it's okay,"

We drove aways further, and then I knew I really wanted to turn around.  Myguy so sweetly obliged and before I knew it the Jeep was doing a U-ey.  We parked across the unfamiliar road and I took a photo of the whole place, and then zoomed in closer.

I think I could journal for days on this one scripture picture.
Rejoicing and thankful,
xoxo

No matter how long I stay gone from here you ALWAYS bless my soul.. Thinking of you and I have so missed my friends and trying to come back.. Healing is slow, but God always does just exactly what we need..

Amazing what effect a picture like this can have! I read all the comments above me, and I see they all reacted like I did. Was it the music, the picture, your comments, or a combination of it all??? I pick the combination answer. Redeemed! Sometimes I feel like that old, rickety house, all in shambles, and so needing love, attention and fixing. Yet, here I stand, redeemed, all fixed, perfect, and will be that through eternity! As Christians, we often "spout" words like "redeemed" and forget to really think deeply as to what that cost, and what it bought us. Thank you for this, Lea! Just so worth remembering today!
