Gratitudes 32

 Greetings and Holykisses,

Hi everyone!
Thought I'd record a few random blessings this morning before time escapes me.
I added Wednesday's scripture picture last night at 11:58; sliding in just before midnight... but that's okay.  It was a very long day to say the least.

Moving on.... I'll share
 a few random blessings:

I'm thankful today for color.
Funny; ..... as crazed as I've been picking out paint chips, purchasing paint,  and changing my mind over and over...
-I realize how I love and am thankful for color.
Sometimes I'll look into  a lovely all white photograph in a magazine?
Usually it's a bedroom or living room scene with pristine white coverlets
and sofas.  But I realize I would never choose all white.
I love yellow sunshine, , pink geraniums,
orange marigolds, green pastures, grey donkeys, red bandanas,
orange terracotta , rhode island red, blue skies and  faded denims.
Robins egg blue, turquoises, and pine bark mulch brown... ahh!  I'm thankful
today for this colorFUL life!

I'm thankful for eyes to see- and  bifocals  that help me read
since the writing on labels seems to keep getting smaller.

for my Hubs who said,
"Well it's good you've painted that shed so many different colors-
that'll just make it last longer."
I'm thankful how he looks on the bright side,
and always "loves me still."

Sons.
And that  they both seem to be
 finding sweet love.

text from
Scotland!

Friendship.  The kind of friendship  that even when you play phone tag
and can't seem to connect...
you both  know that when we do connect..
we'll pick up right where we left off...
forever!

Bossy  Canadian geese and how they
scolded our cows as they approached  for a drink of water at the pond.

A doe deer that ran past me
right in the middle of the cemetery one
evening.

a Pileated woodpecker
that stopped by the outdoor prayer closet.
-It looked big as a chicken!

The annihilation of more
bamboo root.

For the word of God that brought me back this week
to seeking Him... and putting Him first with
my every thing.

For a Pastor who preaches The Word.

And learning a little more patience
and maybe perseverance too.

Thank you Father for everything in my life.
I know that in You, ... I live
move, and have my being.
I'm grateful to be Your girl.

Acts 17:28
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

I totally understand you thoughts on color. I can't do all white, either. But then white does make the colors stand out more!! Your husband has a good thought about all that paint protecting the wood on the shed. It certainly will!

Please don't let my potting shed see your pretty flowers surrounding him. Mine feels so neglected!I am still hoping to have the time to make it pretty once again

Great post. Blue is my favorite color but I also like other colors as well. I loved the prayer you prayed. It's good to pray the scriptures. Have a blessed Mother's Day.
