Gratitudes 30

Greetings and Holykisses,

Week 30 Random Blessings

my Immanuel -
always with me

good health for my family

a happy nose- wild honeysuckle swallowing fence rows

warm spring days with windows down
-and my  good friend who loves to hang her  head
 out the window

the old cow
with a brand new calf-   (a girl I think)

physically moving  something  HUGE- and ...impossible
...with Christ's help-
(I CAN do all things through Christ
who gives me strength.)

lots of work to do
strong hands, arms and back

cheerfulness
JOY

catching a tarrapin turtle
a snapping turtle
and a bunny
all in one day
and that feeling of being
a kid again   ;)

hauled calves to salebarn
-----
God provides

some solitude
some refreshing

more and more
bloomin peonies
angel mother
love

joybuzz from Oklahoma City
doodledebbie-
friendship

-- sweet Kayla
and her sweet surprise
left on the fence

bird
songs

a garden full of weeds
and ...a new hoe

a very friendly
mouse
(I know... crazy...right???)

...rose blossoms
that fell off... decorating the grass
while mowing....

 his arm around my shoulder
side by side in an old
pickup truck

finding
more focus
 discovering a
 life statement

music
singing for joy
in the garden,
the potting shed
old chevy
ipod
my ears
my  heart

the joy of
my salvation

Psalm 95:1
Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.

There is just something about your lists that rubs off on me. I smile when I read them, I feel at peace, and I wish more than anything that I could just spend a day on your farm just doing and being what you do and be. I'd even settle for the little mouse! Our honeysuckle is taking over the whole fenceline, too. I always say I'm going to chop it all off, but then I find little wrens nesting in it. . . . . no chopping!
Thanks for the peek into your heart, Lea! I always find it the loveliest of all windows I look through!

I'd love to hear more about your "life statement"...

and (while I doubt that what I moved yesterday begins to be as large as what YOU moved), I too moved something huge for me - physically! Course, I'm sitting with a heating pad today....

I like those kids' praise songs on your playlist, Lea.

May continued blessings just keep comming to the Shabby Olde Potting Shed People!

Deut:6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
I read the scripture you posted on your header, then the verse's after. Remember how we spoke about taking up our cross daily. that is what I got from this reading today:-) thank you for encouraging me to look to the word of God.
Love you Pj
