Gratitudes 28

Greetings and Holykisses,

A Few Random Blessings:

I'm thankful for my hardworking sweetheart.

For our Strongheart who's been extremely happy these days. ( We think he might have gotten bitten by the
you know what!!? )

And for our Music man.
I really like watching him weld; - I know; I know... I'm not supposed to watch! :)

For two funny calves that keep climbing up on this hill
and then laying down to watch the world from a different
perspective.

For discovering some love left behind in the blonde brownies.

For a trusted friend who helped carry a burden,
and who always encourages me to use the gifts God gives.

I'm thankful for
Blogger!

For witnessing a bald eagle landing on the bank of our little pond
with Trent and his sweet girlfriend.

I'm thankful for the one and only wisteria blossom
hanging on the back of the potting shed.
It's been growing for years and never bloomed til this Spring!

For the hummingbird dining in red honeysuckle.

For a pretty beetlebug I never saw before.

For the seeds in our soil,
and sheer joy getting to plant them.

For the pitter patter of rain on the tin roof.

For help digging that horrid bamboo out of our yard.

For flowers everywhere: They've been my glimpse of a little bit
of heaven.

For Holy Communion on Easter Sunday.
-and that
my Jesus
is alive!!

For wing windows in the old Chevy,
and the simple pleasure of feelin the wind blowin through
my hair.

-and for the someone who really listened; giving
grace as well as their "very precious time."

I'm thankful for so many things.
So many people.
Friends.
...For you!

Thanks Lord!

I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart,
And I will glorify Your name forevermore.
Psalm 86:12

Your random Blessings are a blessing in themselves. Love the two funny calves laying down on the hill to watch the world from a different perspective...we all should do it.♥

I smiled at all your pictures, Lea! The little calves on the hill -- that was adorable!!!! But the picture I loved the most was the wisteria and that one blossom! You know, for several years mine did not bloom at all -- just lots of green and lots of vines. Then, out of the blue, one blossom like yours. And ever since, it's been loaded with flowers and seed pods that explode like firecrackers. I never touch it, never feed it, never trim it. It seems to like being left alone. I don't know how old yours is, but give it a chance! And give those two calves a smooch for me, won't you?????

I am so reminiscing on those window wings in the old truck .. I remember having those in our old trucks and loved them .. I wish they would bring them back ! ..that and we had a little pull bar that opened a vent in the floor of the truck and let air in ..that was awesome too .. Such Great memories ..I sure would like to take a walk back in time ..
