Well... guess what?
I can't show you today's scripture picture.
I mean I would if I could-
But I can't.
Sounds like an excuse right?
But it's not... coz I want to and tried to... but I can't load it!
At first I thought it was a glitch...
But this box keeps popping up that says:
There were errors during upload. You have exceeded your total photo upload quota.
You're kiddin right?
I mean... so I know I've loaded lots of photos here at the shed, but c'mon... really?
I didn't even know there was a quota?
Until I figure something out...
I'll just TELL you about today's scripture picture okay?
I've been in the book of John, chapter 12.
How about you read this, ...and then just close your eyes and PICTURE it okay?!
My bible is opened in my lap as I write. Denise's handmade RED lacy ribbon is marking the page.
The picture has a purple and white background. To the right is a handful of plump, and golden wheat stalks. A sweet bouquet and the kernels are ripe! In the center of the page is a watercolor in colors of turquoise, green and yellow. In the center of it is sketched CROSS, shaded in vibrant red and orange. 4 Holy Communion wafers with etched crosses are at the foot of the cross. (They are very meaningful to me.) Maybe you too? The "word" written across the entire page is: (UPDATED FOR TYPO! So sorry!!!)
Very truly I tell you, unless a
kernel of wheat
falls to the ground
AND DIES, it remains only
a single seed.
But if it dies, it
produces many seeds.
Anyone who loves their life will lose it,
while anyone who hates their life in this world
will keep it for eternal life.
Whoever serves me, must follow Me;
and where I AM, my servant also will be.
My Father will honor the one
who serves Me. John 12: 24-26
