Gratitudes 25 Still More Grace

A few random blessings today:

For my friend who is
"Rejoicing in the LORD."

How faith grows
when grace grows and
....is shared.

Waking up with special words on my mind and heart and
knowing I must hurry, ... get up and out of bed and write
it down so I'll not forget. And the knowing that those
words were given from above.
His whisper: "Grow in grace and ALLOW yourself
to feel it
. "

Getting back on track eating healthy and
tending this aging temple.

Discovering some priorities have been askew.
I've let a couple things fall through the cracks, but thankfully
yesterday I "began" to remedy that in love.
Thankful for forgiveness from a friend and do overs.
More grace stuff.

Nantucket Blend- two little words I heart by the cupful.

A pond full of ducks.
(I kinda feel like Gladys Kravitz with my binoculars watching my neighbors -the Duck family next door.)

Warm winter afternoons.
Mid 60's spell the perfect weather day to me. - long johns and a sweater weather.

One slice of banana bread every day after lunch.
Yum. It's still not as good as Momma's though.

Discovering a love for oatmeal: "my porridge."--
with brown sugar and fatfree milk.
Sweet comfort food...
As Goldilocks would say: " it's just right!"

Getting the house in order.
Christmas decorations put away, and
new things out to look at.
Home sweet home.

Looking forward every morning to my 2 new devos and
enJOYing them both!

Picking dandelions and fresh grass for
Mrs. Potter. My sugarbunnylove!

Gertrude the olde black cow
eating from my hand.
Cowkisses bless my countrygirl soul.

Thee arrival of beautiful "Blue Moon" pumpkin seeds.
And learning more patience.

Hearing from other "grow girls"
Girlfriends in God who are seeking God and
want to grow deeper in grace.

Time .... to journal, gesso, and smash.

Holding hands with Myguy.
I love his big, dry, mechanic-stained hand
squeezing mine.

Pillow talk and having a mate love me enough to
be truthful when I asked for constructive criticism... and
that he pointed me to Christ.
His words of wisdom to me: - "You gotta stop worrying what other people may think of you,
and remember and know who you are in Christ."

Seeing my neighbor who was put in our local nursing home.
I wasn't sure if I'd ever get to see him again.

For the lady I met walking into the Manor who was so cheerful and
such an example of "sharing JOY." God used her to make
a definite impression on me.

For the prophetic word for my friend to
"WALK in GRACE."
Getting to hear about it, grew my faith.
I can see how sharing our journeys
grows us, and it just excites me!!!!

For receiving Holy communion this week.
For starting the new year out ...receiving the body and blood of Christ.
Thank you Jesus for dying for me.
I really do wanna live for you.

For our Pastor who preaches the Word
and just keeps it real.
God uses him so much to
speak to me... and encourage me.

For strength to not compromise
and to stand for God and His
truth.
Peace if possible,
But truth always.

For freedom to worship,
and freedom to speak.
May I speak up and out for you Lord.

For the best dark- chocolate truffle balls this side of heaven.
I tend to choose vanilla always over chocolate but: Myguy
was given these boxes of chocolate for Christmas and since he
doesn't like dark chocolate.... he gave the darkies to me.
Yay
for
meeeeee!
Thanks God for scrumptious,
dark and creamy,
beautifully wrapped in cellophane
chocolate balls.
It's gonna be hard
to not over
indulge.
But I know I can do all things in Christ.
Even chocolate things.

For bumping into an old friend
at the post office.
It was such a blessing to get to hear her give God the
glory for an answered prayer for her loved one.

For God working out our finances so we could trade
our old work truck in that had over 377,000 miles on it for a
much newer one with less miles.
He always provides.

John 21:25
Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

Holykisses xoxo
Lea

Happy new Year my Dear Friend! It's been a while and I MISS you something beeg!!! Love your post here and all the other ones after Christmas, so much to them all, where do I begin to comment??? After reading your post God brought me to this scripture "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
Acts 20:23-25 " this is the way I feel after reading your posts, they always point to Gods love and grace and your passion for the Lord so sweet, real, and a treasure :-) So excited to see how God is going to work in us this 2012. Loved what your Hubster shared with you as well. He's so right on the mark!!!
Happy new Year to you my friend, and lots of love and ALoha!!!
