Gratitudes 23 Simple Gratitudes

Greetings and Holykisses,

Here it is; the Thursday before Christmas.
To stop and count a few random blessings right now ... -seems good.
There's always so much to do three days before Christmas isn't there? Last minute gifts to buy and wrap. Cookies to bake, food to prepare, gatherings, and how is it that there's always just one more thing to go get.
I need just one more thing for _____. Just one more thing.
?

For the next 30 minutes, my oven can just wait while I share a few random blessings.

1. To know my Saviour and that He came and was born in a manger.
(Not a palace- ... but to lowliness.)
He came with nothing and gave His everything,... with all His heart.

2. For the greatest present of all time.
--The gift of God.
"For it is grace you have been saved, through faith- and this is not
from yourselves, it is the gift of God." Ephesians 2:8

3. My very own family
and group of friends. Thanks God for these people
I get to be part of.

4. That I'm never alone and will never be-
Not ever; coz my Emmanuel is always with me. Forever love.

5. For memories... -- some bitter... but sweet.
I've been remembering my Angelmother alot these days.
I'm even wearing her pink fuzzy slippersocks right now. ;)

6. For dragonflies in December.
They warm my heart.

7. For a quilted Angel
who's real. And keeps it real!

8. For a very woolsiegirl who reminds me to
keep growing.

9. For the cute house drawn in red marker on the
back of an envelope.

10. For the phone call from my son's girlfriend wanting to know
"how" to make those M&M cookies for my son! She blessed my heart. ;)

11. How God gave both my friend and I the same scripture without
thee other knowing it. (A God thing)

12. A lesson in - that word "Patience" again ... during my waiting on God.
I'm still waiting. Don't know what I'm doing?
???? -- Just waiting.

13. For this amazing sky.
In the afternoon, this thick cloud rolled in and just hung there.
And then it changed from that dark grey to all these pinks....
I ran in to grab my camera and took this photo as I came out the door.
It has not been enhanced at all.
I ran out back, and...

This is what I saw from my garden area.
In all my life I've never seen anything like it.
Beautiful... is too bland a word for what we got to see.

14. For ruby colored birds that are now coming to the feeders
with big appetites and who don't seem to mind the crazy olde lady who likes taking their
pictures.
His eye is on the sparrow and I know he watches me.

15. For the "dozen" wild ducks that visited Hairdoo on the pond this week all at one time!
And-

16. My neighbor who said, ... "Ducks, ... you want more ducks? I'll give you ducks... how many
ducks do you want?" :) Haa! !!!!
Hairdoo may be in for quite a surprise.

17. For getting to use my hands to make more primitives this week.
I've enjoyed it so much. Sometimes I get all critical coz I don't really sew
very well, but I have a friend who can't use her hands at all. I can. And I'm
thankful.

18. For this olde farmhouse to call home sweet home. I love where I live and can't imagine being anywhere else.

19. For three snoring corgis.
- oh and that Roxy survived her fall out of bed the other night!
I woke to this loud THUD and she'd seriously fell right outta bed.
She limped for two days afterwards... but seems to be okay now.
I can't get over how attached I am to them all... but I am. They're a very big part
of my daily life and I'm so thankful for them.

20. for Peace.
And that I can feel it.
Right here and now.
Thank you God. For all these things and so much more.....!

Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
