Gratitudes 18

Greetings and Holykisses!!

A few random blessings shared:

1. Extra "time" with Myguy! (He took time off work week!) We've been staying up late, ... sleeping in,... cooking big breakfasts...
We've had date nights- going to the movies. We've dined on couples combo's with extra butter! We even drove an hour away to enjoy Braums. We each ordered a double dip peanut butter cup ice cream in a cup. Funny how our date nights usually have something to do with wonderful junk food. ;) We've also used this extra time to
whittle away at the honey do list!

2. -For God's
provision for new sheet iron, tar, a few boards, and nails to patch the shed and barn roofs.

3. --For protection climbing ladders on n off the roof.

4. And protection again when I didn't see a semi truck that had stopped on the interstate! It was a close call.*

5. Rain! Last night it just poured and we needed it so badly!

6. The chrysanthemum "starts" that Gardener woman shared with me in Spring are now blooming!

7. For the coyote we watched running down the road when we drove home the other night!
It was beautiful!

8. The cute raccoon skipping down through the ditch. Maybe wasn't exactly skipping... - Well through my eyes it was skipping.
:)

9. That the puppy someone dumped off on us found
a new home with Justin and Kim. Oh thank you Lord!! We did so not need another dog and the poor thing was starving. (May they live happily ever after!)

10. Affirmation through a friend.

11. Music that inspires and helps me enter into God's presence with a heart of worship.

12. Reminder to use the things God gives me. In particular: Creativity, a knack for baking, my home, what I've learned, and my heart n hands!

14. The beautiful, falling leaves. I so love watching them float to the ground. It's really windy today, so it's quite a show!!!!

15. For two special lessons learned this week:
The first is from Philippians 2:3 - to "Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves." That verse really got me over a situation. Let's just say I discovered my Potter chipping away an ugly ole callous that started growing on a wall in my heart. (Callouses are ugly aren't they?)

16. The other was on happiness. I found this cool old book I was going to alter at a thrift shop. While thumbing through it I read about a contented mind and it asked, "What is the best thing for a stream?" The answer: "To keep moving." Because when a stream stops, it stagnates.
These two things were answers to one of my prayers!
I will- to keep moving
forward.

17. --My faithful and furry friends who love me unconditionally and crack me up; like Francie here. In this picture, I'd bought this stuffed armadillo dog toy and tossed it to him when unpacking groceries. Shortly after; I couldn't find him? He'd went to his bed. --With "his" armadillo so he didn't have to share with Rox or Addie. I had to grab my camera. Look at his guilty mug. Wonder if that's how I look around a bag of Cheetos? ;)

There are so many more things....
John 21:25 "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen."

Have a wonderful day dear friends,
Holykisses xoxo

That dog is cracking me up! Have you seen Denver the Guilty dog on youtube??? :)
I'm so glad you didn't hit that semi...I almost slammed into a truck yesterday and ended up swinging around it on the shoulder to avoid it. WHEW.
Are those clocks your collection? I love it!
