~Renew ~

Greetings and Holykisses,

I keep waiting for the chrysalis above to hatch.
Is it a moth or butterfly?
You can't imagine the many times, I pushed the branch it's attached to out of my way, before noticing the bark-like cocoon. It just amazes me that even though it appears to be dangling by a delicate thread... it's really strong! Strong enough to brave all the storms of life. -- All the while, a mighty work is happening on the inside. I can hardly wait til it bursts forth and finds it's wings.
And I hope I'm there to see it.
Have a beautiful day!
Holykisses xoxo

I have several Monarch cocoons and I'm hoping to see them off! It sure is amazing how strong these are and how they brave the elements like they do! I love your shot!

That looks kinda like the one our Black Swallowtail made. If it's a summer one, it usually takes about 10 days once they are in the cocoon... They are stronger than they look and so are we. =)

Lea, I loved your post today with the picture and the verse. I know what you mean about pushing things aside, or walking by something a million times, and not seeing what is there. I hope you have your camera with you when that thing breaks open!!!!! I loved your verse so much. My favorite part? The little word THEN. It is only when our minds are transformed that we can test and approve His perfect will. Thinking right. What a goal for my life!!!!! Thank you, girl!
