Overwhelmed?

Greetings and Holykisses,

While walking the pastures recently, I looked down and found this rock.
- a heart rock! I picked it up, and carried it in the pocket of my hoodie. When I got back home, I asked my Strongheart to take this picture.

Maybe you're like me and you too have something discouraging you?

Whats that thing.... that is overwhelming "you" today?............
Maybe you have health problems causing concern?
Maybe someone hurt you?
Maybe bills are piling up?
Maybe you've veered off-track somehow and need direction and guidance?
Maybe wrong or impure thoughts ...drive you nuts?
Many different things can overwhelm us.
But God is bigger.
He's so much higher than anything I can even begin to imagine.
I love Him, and cry out to Him today.
He's my ROCK.

Knowing that He is bigger than that whole list is such a reassurance, Lea! And the older I get, the more times He has proven it. As Ann said in her book, 1000 Gifts, when we look at life in the rear view mirror, we see HOW MUCH bigger He is, that His way is best, and nothing comes into our lives except that which is first filtered through His fingers of Love! Thank you for this today. I must say, I felt like this should be one of those "responsive readings" where the leader asks the question, and we all answer loud and in unison, "But My God is Bigger!" Love it!!!!

I love it when I find a heart rock! Or a heart anything in nature. Thanks for this post today Lea. I need it. My heart is heavy about some things, yet I have so many things to be thankful for as well. I am blessed, but you're right..."stuff" can really bog you down. I need to fully give it to my Father...

Your post touched me today. Why do we think we can handle life's problems on our own?
Yes, I am dealing with frustrations and changes. God is helping me handle things and reminding me why I need to do what I am doing.

"Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.
He alone is my ROCK and mu salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a ROCK where no enemy can reach me. Oh my people, trust in him at all times, Pour your heart to him, for God is our refuge." Psalm 62:5-8

He is my rock and refuge! thank you Lea for reminding us all! I love how your hands set forth a beautiful praise to our Jesus.

Love you and our Rock!!
