Gratitudes 7

Greetings and Holykisses,

It's Thursday, so I'm taking a moment to stop... and give God thanks for His many blessings.
I'd like to share a few here.

I'm thankful for fresh cut flowers in old fruit jars.

I'm thankful for our olde clothesline and the fact that clothes hung out in this heat... dry in a flash! I'm thankful for the fragrance of pure country air; the wonderful feeling of stiff blue jeans, and towels- so crispy fried by the hot sun that they're almost like a loofa sponge when you're drying off after a cool shower. I'm thankful for a strong back to carry heavy basketfuls of clothes back and forth from outside. --Doing laundry like this is one chore -I adore.

I'm thankful our garden has had so many delicious things to eat, and I can hardly wait to cut into the candy-lope pictured above! I'm thankful for a new friendship, and the sweet blessings she sent me. Thanks God for all the wonderful people You placed in my life.

I'm thankful for our sons who both have birthdays this week!
How grateful I am to be their Momma.
How these two can be 25 and 27 this year is mind boggling but... they sure have made life incredible.
Happy birthday dear boys. I love you so.

"Thank you God for these two men of yours!!! Thank you for keeping them in your loving care and your hand of protection on them. Thank you for guiding them, and growing them for everything you created them for. I pray that with every day; they know you more. Thy will be done. Thank You Father.
I'm thankful for wonders in the back yard.
Incredible, flowers that bloom at night, and creatures that dine in them! Oh what a delightful world God created for us to enjoy!
I'm so thankful for the colors all around me.
Vibrant, beautiful colors! Just looking around our little garden and farm are more shades than I could count! Thankyou Lord for giving me eyes to see it all!

Holykisses xoxo

A beautiful post friend! I love the aprons :) And the old jar with flowers. Nothing better than a grateful heart!
Your family photos are wonderful. Where did the time go? How did we get to be moms of 20 something year olds? Arent we still in our 20s? hehe
Actually I am just fine at the age I am and how I am growing!

Thanking God for all YOUR blessings, Lea!

We, too, have a "Birthday Boy" - today, to be exact! I celebrate God's gift in the shape of our Josh.

I, too, love towels dried on the line. To me there is nothing more absorbent than a sun dried towel.

Thanking God also that our paths have crossed. I'm encouraged every time I visit the Potting Shed.

Grace and peace be with you & yours today!

It's so easy to see all the blessings all around us, if only we stopped to smell the flowers more! Happy birthday to your boys!!

And I'm thankful to have met you here in blogland and all you mean to me. You are a blessing. Happy Birthday to your sons. Mine are girls, 48 and 43. Oops about told my age but I'm thankful for my girls and that God has let me live to see them grown and one has given us a granddaughter (12) and grandson (18). Can't believe he's 18 and going off to college in the fall. God has been so good to all of them and us to.
Love u, AE

Happy Birthday Lea's boys! Hopefully there will be either strawberry cheesecake, or your mommas good chocolate cake! I am praying that the Lord bless you richly this year in all things good from him!
