Sold

Greetings and holykisses,

I can hardly wait to share with you the last twenty four hours.

I'll begin today with the picture above. It's just a picture that came in the gallery on our computer. It is called "God's Garden." I remembered it had a woman picking a field full of flowers. When I sat down to start this blogpost; it came back to my memory and I hoped I could find it again. Opening it; I noticed it was a field of buttercups. :)

In my last post I wrote how I was seeing this amazing intricate way how God orchestrates the seemingly small things of life (example the tulip bulbs sent to me, - to buttercups and the nursing home lady)...... and also how differently my sense of time and His really is. My mind has still been swirling as I've been noticing connected dots between people and things that happen on a daily basis. Even moment to moment.

Meanwhile, I've been continuing in my workbook "Believing God."
(It's only week 1!)
*I want to believe with my everything.
.....Yet struggle with "some-things."
God reminded me this week, through tulip bulbs and buttercups- that He works stuff out.-- And there's more....

Most of you who read here know my Momma died and used to live out here on our place. Her husband sold us the trailer they lived in and has since moved away and been remarried.
After buying it; we never even had to advertise that it was for rent. A man approached us and rented it. He lived there for a year and recently moved into a house. It needed some work but our business has been so busy that we haven't had time to do anything with it. Two or three people called us noticing it was sitting empty and wanted to rent it but we really wanted to fix it up inside and just sell it to be moved.

Out of the blue two days ago, a man pulled in our driveway; asking if the trailer was for sale.
We told him yes, but only to be moved. (We didn't want to sell any land with it.)
He seemed interested. He looked inside and my husband discussed a price with him.
The next morning, he came back with a check.
In less than two days, ... we sold Mommas trailer without even advertising it was for sale.

My husband came in the kitchen with the title for me to sign and we were just shocked!!!
We'd prayed the night before together and asked God to help us make the right decisions.
We wanted His will, and He brought the man back with a cashiers check.
Mike looked at me before we penned our names and asked, "Are you sure you're okay with this?" I said, "Yeah, are you?"- "Yeah." (smile) "Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord, Thank You Lord."

I went in to take a shower and began to entertain a little sadness.
"I should go take pictures before the man starts taking off the skirting etc," I thought. But God told me "No! She's not there... she's here with me, and she's waiting for you. ....Let it go."

The new owner is hoping to have it moved and be living in it within two weeks. He actually has land not far from us so it will actually still be in the neighborhood. I won't be able to see it from our place though. I think that's a good thing.

Last night we went up there and walked around. We realized it's possible the man may have to cut down the pear tree to get the trailer out. At first, I got a lump thinking about it. But there are other trees there that she planted. The most important thing of all is being thankful for God's provision. He provided that little house for my Momma and I was so blessed to have her right out in the front pasture for years and years. And now He provided for us financially to get out from under the burden of renting.

His timing again was perfect.
At any other time, I don't think I would have been ready to see it go.
But she's not there. And my sweet memories will never leave me.

I'm so thankful that not only does God orchestrate the little things in life... but through His provision I again see His love. He knows the very hairs on our heads, and always sees us through.

"Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?" Matthew 6:26

What a WONDERFUL story of God's provision for you! We had an unmistakable experience of God's direction while on vacation. My husband will tell of it in his sermon tomorrow. Then I will be free to post it. I'm very excited.

The picture of the woman in the buttercup field is very lovely. It was new to me! Wishing God's Blessings on the rest of your weekend, Lea.

I loved this post. A perfect ending to a perfect week. I looked at the picture, read your post, then went back to the picture. Somehow, I could just see your Mom in that, picking all the flowers In Heaven's meadows!!!!
You know what the best part of the whole past was???? "She is not here." Just to know where she is and where she is not is probably a believer's greatest HOPE! Don't get me going on that word again!!!!! Love you ---- and I'm with Denise ----- let's all dance!

Bless you gal for sharing the lord with us and what he is doing in your life. Sometimes he moves with lightening speed in order that what you have can help others. He is all seeing and knows what you need before you ask. He just wants us to believe in him enough to ask. I am so thrilled he moved so quickly for you.

I know your mom's home means so much to you, but let her live in your heart and you get a double wammy as her home will give comfort to someone else.

I too have stories of how God moves and quickly when it benefits his cause. And it comes out of no where, like how is that possible... We dont see how but God does.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

He goes before us..... always in the lead position. Moving mountains and creating valleys .His Holy Spirit intervenes in lives and although we think that it is just life... we are wrong..... It is just HIM..... HE knows before we ask.... HE answers when we are still trying to figure out what to ask for...... HE moves... and with a sensitive heart we see God on the move......

You have a sensitive heart.....You are blessed.. You are watching HIM move........ :)

You know Sweetie what came to my mind, is not that your Mom plannted that pear tree, but that she helped plant the love of God in your heart. The best kind of planting!

Love ya

Sweet Leah,
You said it perfectly:

I'm so thankful that not only does God orchestrate the little things in life... but through His provision I again see His love. He knows the very hairs on our heads, and always sees us through.

The homes we live in here are tents, temporary...both our physical bodies and are house-hold-homes. God is perfect in all He does, and His ways for us are always best.
Hugs, Heidi
