*Love* WFW

Greetings and Holykisses!

This Christmas my dear Mil gave me two, sparkling, vintage jars that had once belonged to her own Angel Mother. I've collected vintage fruit jars for a long time, but had never come across one just like this jar before. I was so excited, and knowing they came from my dear Mil, as well as Gramma Colwill: the button collector; well that just made them all the more special. From the moment I picked up this aqua, glass jar for the first time and read the word "banner"...... this verse sprung from within the tablet of my heart.
"His banner
over me
is
Love."

Happy WORD filled Wednesday everyone,
We're loved!!!
Holykisses xoxo

Me too! I love collecting jars too. I've never seen one like this.

Lea, it's always such a blessing to drop by and visit. I think of you everyday--literally--when I sit in my prayer chair and see my prayer sign. I will be forever grateful.

PS...could you email me your mailing address?

Lovely reminder of both the love of God and the love of family.

"So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in, like a flood the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard (banner Hebrew נֵס translated nec pronunciation nās: metaphorically, a sign, by which any one is warned )
against him" (Isaiah 59:19).

HIS Banner over me is LOVE..... lifted high so that all men will know whom I serve. All men shall know that HE has set HIS standard over me....... Be warned....

Standard and banner used interchangeably in most scriptures.

And that is my bible lesson for today! hahahah

Don't ask me why I shared that... just in a teaching mood...

Have a wonderful Sunday..

I love this jar. My grandma used to sing an old hymn about a banner over me. I'll have to do some research on that one.
