Happy new year!!!

Greetings, Holykisses and
Happy New Year!!!!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. --Feels like I've been away from blogland for months! I just want you to know that I haven't forgotten yall, and nothing has been wrong. Just needed some time with my family.

We had alot of fun and made many new memories through Christmas. My Mil and Fil were with us and I'm really counting my blessings tonight. To be honest; I kinda feel a little weepy. I just love the Lord and my friends and family so much!!!!!!

And here we are beginning a brand new year.
I've been finding myself doing alot of reflecting; praying and soul searching.
More than anything I just want to be in God's will... ya know?

One of my favorite things to do at thee end of the year is read some of my old journaling. To be able to look back and read about all the things God did last year.... gets me totally pumped for another new year. Then after doing so, I ran out and stocked up on new notebooks. :) To purchase a brand new, "pretty" notebook tickles me pink! It's probably the highlight of a new year for me. A place to record new possibilities. Record new beginnings. Record new adventures! And oh yes, let's not forget: a few do overs!!!!

Let's journey together this year!
Holykisses xoxo
Lea

I am going to begin to journal today.. I have never kept a journal but I need to start.. I have cried a lot today..; Looking back, looking forward.......My mind wonders from the blessings to the heartache..... I wonder sometimes which one tips the scales the most..... this past year of 2010 the heartache won but the blessings during the heartache with the restoration of my oldest son I wonder if I need to readjust my scales.....

Happy New Year my friend....... I wait with an open heart to see what the Father God is going to do in our lives this new year......

I can SO identify with your last sentences! I reviewed the year via my journal too! I like the way you said it--new possibilities, new beginnings, new adventures and a few do-overs!

This morning my husband's text is Isaiah 42-43. "Behold, the former things have come to pass, and NEW things I now declare...Behold, I am doing a new thing...I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert..."

Ready & excited about the "NEW things"! Happy New Year.

I don't know which is better, going back and reviewing the pages of "the ways the Lord has led us thus far", or the crisp, new, empty pages of a new journal just waiting for those pens to once again testify that indeed, He has our futures in His hands. I loved Rebecca's comment, especialy the passage from Isaiah about rivers in the desert. Looking forward to those rivers!!!!!!

I read your post earlier but can't remember if I commented so if you get two you know my age is telling on me. So glad you had a blessed New Year and pray blessings throughout the year for you and your family.
