Dec 2,2010 Thankful Thursday

Greetings and holykisses,
Behind door number 2...... a watercan!
This is fun! I feel like a little kid again.

So here we are December 2nd, on Thankful Thursday.
I'm counting my blessings, with a heart filled with gratitude.

Here, I share
... a few random blessings:
Today I'm thankful for my husband who expresses his love for me in so many ways, all day long.
Even when I forget to wash his work jeans.... or undercook his macaroni.
He extends grace to me always. When I forget to write down my debits, or mess something up royally, I'll often say, "Do you love me still?... even still?????" He always smiles and says, "With all my heart." I'm so thankful!
I'm so grateful God put the two of us together.

I'm thankful for the word of God. I just love my bibles so much. God's word really is alive. The bible says His word does not return void. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" 2 Timothy 3:16
I love how His word comes to us in so many ways.... and is always what we need. I was reminded of it last night talking to one of our boys. He'd been to a church with a friend and
and he told me a scripture that was mentioned. He quoted it to me and said how much it meant to him. Thank you Lord!!!
"My son, keep my words and lay up my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart." Proverbs 7:1-3
I'm thankful for my nutty dogs who brighten up my life in so many ways. When I woke up, I had to grab my camera. Addie here; was sacked out on the bed with her tongue hangin out and eyes all rolled up in weird way. She just cracks me up. I love our furballs and am grateful they came into our lives.

I had a long list journaled today, but I'll just add one more here.
I'm thankful for special friends who listen to our ~hearts~.
Friends who love us unconditionally... warts n all.
God knows our needs and so often uses people to bless us and help us along lifes way.
I'm truly thankful.

Have a blessed day everyone!
God's good!
Don't forget to count your many blessings.

"Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfieth the longing soul and filleth the hungry soul with goodness."

"I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord." Psalm 104: 33-34

"O Give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works." Psalm 105: 1-2

Hey Girl,

I am thankful for my husband too and much for the same reasons. He forgives me when I leave my coffee spoon out of forget to turn off the oven light.
I'm Thankful for my daughter Zoie who teaches me more about God than many pastors I know. Come visit and see what God did through her.
And I'm thankful for Godly bloggy friends like you who point me to HIM with every read.

You are really a wonderful friend and I'm so thankful to count you as one of my bloggy friends. You always make my day and night since it is 9:53 pm. It has been a long day but a good one. I lost one of my cordless phones several months ago and as always I asked God to show me where it was because He sees everything (El Roi - the God who sees), but I didn't find the phone so had decided it must have fell in the trash and I had just made the statement today that we needed to buy new phones. Well guess what, God knew we didn't need to do that. I went to my filing cabinet which is in a closet and was looking in all the drawers for something else. I've been in those drawers numbers of times but today when I opened the second drawer I looked down and there was my phone right where I had filed it I guess. Well I just started thanking God for allowing me to find that phone. Some people would think God doesn't have time for little things like that but if we can't believe Him for little things how can we believe Him for big things? Right?
God bless you,
AE

We all have so many wonderful things to be thankful for.... I will never forget the way we met. Miss Betty and I still laugh at how it all came about. Someday I truly hope we can all meet in person. We'd raise the roof in laughter, wouldn't we? I am so thankful for your friendship, your blog and inspiration. Thank you, sweet friend! Love, Janie
