Greetings and holykisses,

I hope yall had a great weekend!
Early; Black Friday morning, Myguy and I packed an overnight bag and headed to NW Arkansas. We spent thee entire day shopping; then checked into our motel in Bentonville just long enough to change clothes and head back out to for my lil nieces wedding! -- I don't know what it was with her getting married but I just felt so emotional! Earlier on in the day, Mike and I were talking about it and out of the blue I just started crying thinking of her walkin down that isle! My DH just looked at me like, "woman are you gonna be alright???!!!*" --

Then when we got to the church, it hit me one more time when I saw her in her dress before the wedding. . egads. Thankfully; somehow I got a grip. As for the ceremony; it was so sweet, and the Pastor did a wonderful job. I just pray with all my heart that these kids put God first in their marriage and live happily ever after. (I know I'm biased ... but she sure was a beautiful bride.)

It was really nice seeing my family again too. We just don't see each other near as often with our Mom now gone. She was our superglue. -- I know that happens alot in families. Especially when everyone is spread out like ours.

The next morning we went to the Promenade and had wayyyy to much fun. We got most of our Christmas shopping done too! Yahoo! What sweet relief! Usually we wait til the last minute, and spend the whole month in chaos. --Hopefully this year will be different! The only thing pressing at all right now is I have 70some cards to make for our church's Christmas stockings. But I'm totally looking forward to that and my friend Maxi volunteered to help too! So we'll make an evening or two of it and then when those are done, we can start making our own Christmas cards.

After church today, we put all the lights up on the house. We built a stable out of old pallets like usual and the nativity set my Mom gave us one year is now lit up, and nestled in the straw. -- Myguy made a star out of rebar one year, and today he put a new strand of LED lights on it and attached it on the roof. It's funny; you can always tell when something has LED lights in it because they're so bright; but .... don't you suppose the light from that first star would probably make LED's look dark!

Well, a new set of doorbuster flannel sheets are waiting for me to retrieve them from the dryer and make up the bed. After that, I have a lengthy bible study to finish. Our ladies meeting is this Tuesday night and I don't want to be unprepared.

I'm including some pictures for yall to copy if you so choose. The postcards were from the Postmaster and the photos are vintage relatives I bought out thrifting awhile back. The first postcard has handwriting on it that you might want to cut off. I like the font of the "wishing you Christmas cheer" though. I think I used the Santa on a banner once too. Wouldn't the girls in the white dresses be cute fairies? Feel free to use them in your own artwork.

Til we meet again,
Holykisses xoxo
Lea

May the lord richly bless the new couple with much joy through-out their lives. May they always start the day with lord and always leave anger outside.

Blessings.

Sounds like you two had a blast. Your ahead of me on Christmas decorating. Usually I put my tree up right after Thanksgiving but I'm waiting until I can get my carpet cleaned, plus my husband got really sick last week and I had to do things I had not done in a while. We truly had a miracle. He's all better now. You can read about it on my blog. I'm just praising God my husband is still with me.
Love your pictures. Got to get my Christmas blog going soon.

God bless, AE
