His Eye Is On The Sparrow

This morning when I opened the door to one of the sheds, I noticed a little bird inside. Frantically she flew at the window in fear, so I opened the door wide and stepped away. Soon; she figured it out and flew out the door. She was free.

As I walked back inside; I noticed something.
Behind a worn out crutch, and olde lariat rope: her ~Home Sweet Home~.
So lovingly built.
With 5 little blessings.
I'm not sure; but "think" the Mother's a wren.

I left the door open, and also opened a window so she can get back inside. Then tonight, I'll close the door and just leave her window opened. :)
Hopefully when she starts setting, she won't be as upset by my coming and going because this is the shed that we keep our feed inside. The water spigot's also in there. -So I have to be in there everyday.

Looking at her building site, I had to laugh. This lil Mother built her house inside a sheltered building; with electricity, scratch grain, and water at her disposal. The Lord is providing for her isn't He?!

Thanks for dropping by the Potting Shed today!
Holykisses xoxo

Ok...Lea...ONCE AGAIN you made me cry! :( A few months back you posted a picture of a wren (I think) on a post and the caption (again...I think..my memory is going!:) was "Look Up"! With my diagnosis there have been many a days that I am reminded to just "Look Up!" His eye is on the sparrow and His hand it comforts ME! Thanks, once again for the reminder today that HE does care for me (us)! Oh, what a comfort to know that He does provide for even the sparrows so why not us?!

Love ya girl! Ruth starts today!

Beutiful post, His Eye is on the Sparrow and I know He watches over me. And I need Him right now. I'm having problems with my computer. If you noticed I've been MIA, that's why. I need God's direction as what I should do so I'll wait until He gives me an answer.

We have a blue bird house and had blue birds again this year, then they left. A few days ago we noticed a different kind of bird using the blue bird house. It is the same bird that Debra at Sparrowgrass has on her header so I wrote and asked her what kind of bird it is. She says it's an English Sparrow and sometimes a pest. Also that when they take over a house the blue birds probably will not be allowed to use it again. Debra says they are very territorial. I know they hung around until their babies were ready to leave the nest. The blue birds especially the male did not stay around as much as these do. They are both beautiful birds as well as the Gold finich. We've had lots of those on our patio at the back of our apartment. We also saw our first hummingbird yesterday but he didn't hang around long. All the feeders are hung on one pole that has a long piece across the top.

Isn't God good? Have a blessed day. AE

Loved this post Lea! Hubby was singing that song today while we were out and about. And Yes if His eye is on the sparrow,I know it is on us. Great thoughts, and I hope your little mother sparrow will overcome her fear, and trust you, because I know you will look after her.
Hugs,
Sue

But when I looked out my front window I saw a mom and dad quail walking around with no trail of babies.. but they may be sleeping ..or the mom and dad are different ones (:) hugs,Patty

Simply adorable. I love wrens...Carolina wrens are a fav and we did not have them in Michigan. I'm not sure if they are here. I still don't have up a feeder because of the bear and crazy coons!

Thought of you yesterday as I drove over a huge snake! It was on my rode too about 5 houses down.
