Word Filled Wednesday

Greetings and Holykisses,

I found this vintage- rusty, crusty, bottom-less teapot on the floor of the woods one day. Carrying it home; it found new purpose and now lives in my garden.

In the beginning she was created to boil water for tea.
Over time, she wore down. Perhaps someone forgot her on the stove-top and she boiled dry?
Maybe she was no longer pretty enough? ........ Perhaps she leaked?
At some point, she was discarded.... thrown out because it appeared that she no longer had worth... value. (wrong)
To me; she's beautiful.
She's now home to a mound of oxalis and for today's scripture picture *ROSES*
.... Once again she.......... sings.

"And we know that in all things
God works for the good for those who love HIM,
who have been called
according to His purpose."
Romans 8:28

I'm linking to Amy Deanne of the 160 Acre Woods for Word Filled Wednesday this week. My thanks to our hostess: Penny at Pennyraine.

Have a beeeeautiful day!
Holykisses xoxo
Lea

I love the new purpose and your visual reminds me of Patsy Clairmont's book, "God Uses Cracked Pots" (I think is the title of this funny but full of truth book). Blessings to you, my Lieb!

God has certainly given you a gift to revive thrown away things and use them to glorify Him.

Such a good reminder that we all have value and purpose in God's eyes. So many times, people are made to feel like that old pot, but God sees each one of His creation as special, and He created us to serve him.
Blessings,
Laurie

SO glad I stopped by before I hit the hay! A post about TEA, sorta : ) I also love this tea kettle and her new home. I am most certain she adores living by the potting shed! Rom 8:28 is a verse I tell myself often, thanks for doing it for me this time. ; )

Funny she mentioned the cracked pots book...I did a spin on that for a Mother-daughter tea I spoke at once and said...God uses cracked pots. I brought in some of my flowers pots that were chipped, cracked and worn down, but still useful.

Bless you and that lovely soft heart of yours.
I am thinking that I need to add a few of your bits to my piece of turf...if it keeps raining..it will be more and more tempting to be out there.
