Pizza Casserole Recipe

Greetings and Holykisses!
TGIF huh?!!

Yesterday I asked Myguy what he'd like for supper? He himmhawwed.... thinkin.*
I said, "If you could have anything at all.... what would it be?" "Anything!"
He answered, "Pizza Casserole!" :)

Pizza Casserole is one of our families favorite dishes.
Myguy loves it... and our sons rave about it.
I thought yall might like the recipe as well. I really thought I'd shared it before but here we go again just in case.

Smoosh together 1 tube of refrigerated crescent rolls in the bottom of a 9x13 pan. I use the reduced fat one but that's up to you.
Fry hamburger and drain really well. This is the only thing you can goof up... it has to be drained really well... you do NOT want greasy pizza casserole. Then mix drained hamburger with 1 jar of pizza sauce. Spread that over the bottom crust. Then add pepperoni. Some of us like black olives so I add a few to one side. If I were making this for just me, I'd load it down with mushrooms as well but no one likes them here. So whatever you like on a pizza... add it now!
Top with 1 small package of grated cheddar, and a small package of mozzarella cheese. I don't measure because you can't goof it up...it's just whatever you like.
Open another tube of crescent roll and just lay it over the top. I see my halves are not even- ooops. Oh well; didn't affect the taste right?
Bake at 350 til golden brown and bubbling.
Mmmmm....

Hope you like it as much as my family does!

Okay, I am coming over for leftovers if there is any left and you can load down my piece with mushrooms, I LOVE THEM but no one here does...

This is what hubby will have tonight!! I keep asking what he wants each day and he says "Whatever" so I happen to have all the ingredients.

Looks yummy and simple... just right up my ally. I like easy cooking.

SALUTE! Thank YOU for posting this.

Looks and sounds so delicious but I don't eat pizza any more (and I really miss it). There's just too much sodium in it and I have to watch my intake of that. Sometimes if the family is here and they get pizza I will eat one little "tiny" bite.
Luv u, AE

Lea, I made this last night, Got pictures before I put the top crust on it. Totally forgot to take some photos after it came out of the oven. It was good hubby said. I had fruit, I am not one for eating pepperoni. Its all hubby will eat when it comes to pizza. I opeted for 2 pares and some cheese. Thanks loads for the recipe!

Well tube crescent rolls have not yet made it to our shore but I got a slice of butter puff pastry out last night and used up a few odds and ends to make a mean quiche.
I used to buy it from a shop called "the savory tart" back in the early '80's and finally asked the recipe....it was equal eggs and cream. It has served me well.
