Refreshing

Greetings and holykisses,

This image was in my inbox from Hobby Lobby's weekly advertisement. Pretty cool to know that when we repent, God forgives us and remembers our sins NO MORE isn't it?!

Onto a few pictures from our Easter Sunday!
I'd love to share my 3 guys with ya.

Our boys... Trent and Tony.
(Thankyou Lord)

After church, we lit the grill and cooked cheesy brats, steaks and hamburgs with all the fixins.
It's kinda become tradition!
Afterwards, we grabbed some nightcrawlers out of the fridge and went fishing on our pond that's stocked with perch and catfish. The picture above is of my Hubs who I think caught the most fish; and Trent, and little Francoise.

It was so relaxing and a... beautiful day!
Tony and I walked through the woods and looked for crawdads in the creek, while Mike and Trent fished for awhile. It was a lot of fun, and just like old times;... only new!!!
Thank you Lord for my family.

When loading all my pictures onto the computer I came across this photo that I'd taken this week of our donkey Violet.
She still has alot of winter hair; but do you see the dark line going down at the base of her mane? She also has a dark line running down her back. It's a CROSS. They say donkeys carry a cross on their backs because Christ sent two of his disciples to fetch a donkey and He chose it to ride into Jerusalem on. Since then, it's said; that donkeys have had a cross on their backs. ~I don't know about all; but both our donkeys definitely have crosses on their backs. I love the story and think of it every time I see their crosses.

I hope to get back to blogging more regularily now that my garden's in.
Thanks for being so patient with me!
Thankyou to my new friends who have signed the guestbook at the potting shed. I hope we get to know eachother better. Thankyou to all of you who leave comments and write emails and leave your pictures. I'm so very blessed to have you in my life.
God bless yall!
L

I didn't know that about the donkeys having a cross on them. Seem logical.

We are blessed by your friendship as well Lea! That is soo cool the story about the donkey, and the cross. From now on I will look for the cross! Your time with the boys at the fishin hole sounded lovely, peaceful, and those brats and burgers sound yumoooo!! Was that the beginnings of your garden I saw in the background of one of your pictures?

May the Lord bless you today and in all your comings and goings.

Aloha Paula

It is always wonderful to look back on a holiday/family time that was successful. Sometimes just being together is enough. Right? Your pond looks wonderful and I'm sure you have many memories from it!
Have a blessed day!

I love your family tradition and love viewing your pictures of such a beautiful family. Sounded like it was a calm, relaxing, peaceful day...just the kind that I like too.

We spent Saturday at my daughter's and barbecued hamburgers, hot dogs, and steak. It was 89 degrees here which is so rare. It was a beautiful day spent with them.

You are so blessed dear Lea...so very blessed.

Love you,
Alleluiabelle

Sounds like a good time was had by all. I always enjoy your posts. You have a way of taking the little things and making something spectacular with them. I had never heard about the crosses on the donkeys either and I forgot that the pine trees have little crosses on their tips along about this time of year. I've got a picture of them but forgot all about it.
All of my family were here on Saturday night including my oldest daughter's boyfriend. She left on Sunday and took our grandchildren with her since this is their Spring break.
My other daughter and son-in-law invited us to go out to dinner with them on Sunday along with his Mom and sister.
God bless you for all that you do to lift our spirits.
Love you, AE
