My First Video! Have You Pet Yer Armadillo Today?

This little armadillo was in our back pasture today. Thought I'd video him just for fun. You'll have to turn your volume way up if you wanna hear my goofy voice. *(maybe the leprosy thing is an old wives tale; not sure... but I do know they can tear an acre of hide off you with their claws.. please don't ask how I know this. lol) Oh; and one more thing... no armadillo's were injured in the making of this silly video.

Have a great day!

Don't forget to put your own armour on!

Neat. You have a pretty voice but it kept breaking up. You were very patient with that little guy.

Oh, my goodness! That was so cool! I cannot believe she/he/it let you touch her/him/it. Yes, we have armadillos in Texas...but we normally see them on the side of the road belly up.

They're seen belly up on the road here too. All that drinking* I guess coz usually they're holding a can of Bud Lite.

Oh my Lea that was awesome. You could hear the leaves crunching and you were brave to pet that little creature with your foot...not so sure I would of even got that close but then we don't have that kind of critter around these parts.

Love your voice...it's as sweet as you are!

Love you,
Alleluiabelle

Last spring a woman at the shops husband planted 12 small shrubs and the next morning they were all pull up from the ground. Armadillos looking for grubs. Haven't seen any in my yard of course they have to get through the chain link fence first.

Oh my word! You are so brave. At first I thought you had the camera on zoom, but when I saw your foot!! LOL. That little fella was sure focused on his grubbing. Hmmm maybe my prayer tomorrow should be "Lord give me the focus and hunger that the little old armadillo has, with regards to me serving you!"
It was really wonderful to hear your voice, and great job on posting your first video!

That was wonderful!!!We found an injured hedgehog while living in Ireland, and nursed him back to health, and then let him back into the woods. He would nestle on my lap and only bit me once, when I wasn't feeding him fast enough! His name was Henri the Hedgehog!
