~Day One, December~

Greetings and holykisses!

Today marks the first day of December, and moves towards the greatest birthday in history!
People are decking the halls with boughs of holly and our small hometown has been busy doing the same.
Red banners wave cheerfully, up and down our main street.
This is our courthouse. It's so beautiful and I love that wreaths are on every window! Notice the lampposts? They are along thee entire street and each one is decked out in garlands and red bows! How festive, and grand!
This is the side of our courthouse. More wreaths and bows!

There's a bridge over the creek just as you enter town, and just before Christmas it's covered with a canopy of white lights. We look forward to them every year. I'll try to take a picture of it one night but my camera doesn't do a good job in the dark. On the other hand; it could be thee operator?-- not sure. But I'll try!

Tomorrow the weather man said we might have a mixture of rain and sleet. I hope he's right!
Living in the south we dont' see snow very often.... a couple times a year. Usually we get hit
with ice storms. I do hope we see some sleet! As long as the roads stay clear, as my Mil and Fil will be traveling and coming for a visit on Thursday. Speaking of which; I better start washing the sheets on their bed! lol

Have a wonderful evening!
Think SNOW!
Holykisses, xoxo
Lea

We have been thinking snow too. I even wore my snowflake pajamas to bed last night...in hopes! There was a little bit of sleet when I took Hannah to school this morning and a few big flakes that fell from the sky, and lots of rain. We are still hoping for snow tonight. I love snow! I hope that you are blessed with snow too. Girl, you are such a blessing to me!

Your town looks beautiful. We don't get snow much anymore like we did when I was a little girl and there were a few times after my girls were about my age and older. They loved playing in the snow. Ice and sleet I don't particularly care for but since I don't drive anymore it doesn't bother me.

Have a blessed week, my friend,
AliceE.

I'm wondering to myself, what does Miss Lea's sheets look like? Are they vintage? Are they soft and worn? Are they vibrant with color? Hmmmm.....no matter what they look like, I know they are lavished with love because that is how my precious friend, Miss Lea, is! ! ! Lavishing in love!

Lovingly,
Yolanda
