PTL.... and Soup For The SouL......

Greetings and Holykisses,

I'm ecstatic this evening to have read that Rachel's surgery went really well! Isn't that just awesome?!! Talk about good news! Thank you Lord!! To read Kristi's update at her blog, click here: "Kiki's Corner."

Not long ago, I was picking a coat up that I'd dropped off at the dry cleaners. I handed the woman a $20, and she gave me $7 back. Then she hit me up about a fund raiser of dry soup mixes that her child was having at the school. I asked her how much they were, and wouldn't you know... they were $7.00! I glanced through the list of soups briefly and told her we'd take the "chicken."

This past week, I found a message on the machine telling me my soup was in.-- "Come on down to the dry cleaners and pick it up." So this afternoon, I finally remembered it, and stopped by the cleaners. The lady behind the counter handed me the package and I trotted out the door. It smelled so good, right through the bag.

When I got home, I decided that since our house is still under construction, it would be a good night for a pot of soup. For the first time, I looked at the label. Chicken SOUL soup. -- COOL!
How could I not like the name huh? Then I turned it over.....
Look at the last line.

"Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up." James 4:10

I Never knew a package of soup could bless me so much!
Did you notice thee ingredients are filled with lots of love as well?
It's simmering on the stove right now!

"Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him." Psalm 34:8

Soup sounds delicious! It was nice catching up with you :-) We have been busy bees the last week getting our house ready to sell - it went on the market today!! We are exhausted and a good bowl of soup made with lots of love sounds pretty good right now ;) Maybe now I can get back into my routine - at least until the house sells - then we will be in a packing frenzy. LOL!

Looks like your house has been in chaos too! It will be fabulous once it gets done...

Happy Thanksgiving,
Debbie

God knew.
The day you took your item to the cleaners He knew that the day you picked it up you would need a fast easy supper because you would be tired!
