A Thankful Thursday Picture Story

Greetings and Holykisses,

Today's
Random 5 Blessings

1. I'm thankful for my hardworking husband. He never shirks a task, and I've hardly
ever heard him complain; even when I know his back has to be aching.* Thanks Lord
for my hardworkin, man!

2. I'm thankful for our two sons.
Trent is on the left, and Tony on the right.
Thanks Lord for our two gifts.
"Keep them as the apple of your eye, hide them in the shadow of your wings."

We love them so much.

3. I'm thankful to live in the country!

When I mentioned yesterday that I can see the mountains on my drive,
a couple of you asked for pictures, so here you are.
Driving the "back way," from our house to town truly is beautiful, and
I often take it for granted.
Sometimes I just have to be reminded to Look uP!

Right now the leaves are turning ...and
God is coloring His goodness all around us.

4. I'm thankful for 3 shadows: our 3 pembroke corgi's.
Today, Adelaide rode with me to the post office. Just
the two of us. (Usually all three of them get to ~go~)
Doesn't she look happy? She looks like she needs
another pet-icure tho.

I'm also thankful that we live close very close to the Arkansas River which you can see
through these trees. If we ever get a hankerin to do a little fishing, we can go down
the road a piece and drop a hook in the water.

5. I'm thankful for our olde farmhouse. It's nothing fancy,
but it's home sweet home, and I'm so thankful
to live here.

This past
week, we've started putting out hay for the cows and donkeys
and we're grateful the Lord provides
for all our needs.

Don't forget to count your own blessings, and give God
your praise!

(Some of you asked about the eye photo. My friend Martha told me about a site called photofunia, and I made it there!) Be warned: it's addicting playing around with the pictures!

Hi Lea! The scenery is absolutely beautiful! My dad was from Arkansas. I still have a couple of aunts that live there. One around Yellville and the other is in Compton, (I think). When I was a girl, we would always go visit the "kin folks" up there around this time of year. I loved it!

Hi Lea,

What a fabulous list with pictures this week! Great idea, I'll have to take my camera with me one week and do the same thing. It was so fun to reminisce with you.
