October 31st

Greetings and Holykisses!

It is SUCH a beeeautiful day! It dipped down into the 30's here last night, and the high is supposed to be in the upper 60's! No rain in sight, and it looks as though our week will be dry! Oh glory!
I'm so excited to have a week of sunny FALL weather! And we get a whole extra hour of sleep tonight!! Now don't forget to set your clocks back at bedtime! Otherwise you'll be at church in the morning all by yourself. --Did I get that right? That's thinkin too hard for me right now. lol

Many of you are getting ready for all your trick or treaters tonight. Living out in the country we don't get any, but I always buy candy for... just in case. Myguy will be eating lots of little Reeses peanut butter cups and kid-sized packs of peanut M&M' in his lunches for the next week. lol

I bought a brand new bag of candy corn as well. I LOVE it! AND; so does Lydia our goat.
She helps polish off a bag in a hurry. You don't want to fill your pockets and go in her pen or she'll smell it and pester you til nearly every button is wallered off your shirt and your pockets are wet with goat slobber. (Oh how I love that girl!)

Since our kids are grown and we get no tricksters, I've decided to start bringing out Thanksgiving decorations and maybe our little lighted pine trees, and a few snow people today.
I've never made a pumpkin roll in my life, and think I'll go through my cookbooks and see what I can find for an easy recipe. Myguy adores pumpkin bread so I think I'll surprise him tonight with a loaf or two? Sound good?

Have a beautiful day today dear friends! Yay! I'll be baking with the screen door open this afternoon! (Not all the way open yall, or the chickens would come in the house!) They love to stand on the welcome mat ya know.

Blessings to ALL!
Love ya like.... warm pumpkin bread slathered in real butter!
"GOD is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

I don't do Halloween either but sure do love the fall fest at church and decorating for harvest/autumn and reaping all the blessings around. Enjoy your day, and we too are to get a week of sunny fall weather, so needed.

Don't do Halloween here either, but drop some chocolate chips in that pumpkin bread and a little pecans. After it cools, whip up some maple frosting and oh my, it's tasty.

And...with that bag of candy corn add a jar of salted dry roasted peanuts. You'll truly think you just had a salted nut roll. Drats...I can't eat either one with these crazy braces...so I'm looking forward to next year already. ;-) Been two fall seasons since I've had this delicious concoction.

Love you like....pumpkin and coffee. Oh yeah!

Happy Autumn to you, and Holy kisses back at you! It has been raining here all day, so I am glad someone is enjoying pretty weather. Your Lydia is so cute. Is this who the Lydia bags were for? Do I feel silly :)

Blessings!

Hi Sweetness!! I felt like we were just sitting together chatting when I read this post!! Love ya like.....sunny days with warm breezes!! :o)

I've been getting centerpieces and some other doo dads together for the pregnancy center banquet...events are one of my fave things to do!! This helps raise a ton of money to fund daily operations...so worth the investment! Then I have an impromptu trip to my sis to leave Maddy for a week!! I'll miss her like crazy, but she adores my sis (so do I!!) and they love having special time together. Hopefully I will get a couple of projects done in her absence. We'll see!!

Have a joyful Sunday full of praise and blessings, Lea!!
Love n hugs,
Becky
