Thanks God

Greetings and holykisses,

It's Thankful Thursday!
WHOOhOoOOoo!
Got your praise On?
If not.... Crank it up here my friends!

Today's Random Blessings

1. I'm thankful for my health and the health of my family!

2. I'm thankful for my goofball sons pictured ABOVE. I love em. I love em I love em!
They both work really hard and can fix anything. They were both born with a wrench in each hand. Okay; maybe I exaggerate but "almost!" When they were 2 and 4, their Dad would
give them screwdrivers and old carburators and they would spend hours taking
them apart and trying to put them back together again. Motorheads
to the bone. They were rebuilding engines before they were teenagers.
Anyways, sometimes at the end of a hard days work they'll grab their
fishin poles and head to the neighbors pond. I love this picture of them.
This is how they act together- often! When they aren't doing stuff like this,
they are punchin eachother, or hittin eachother with mountain dew
bottles. They call eachother "jerk" but no one else better ever mess
with one of em coz thee other would defend him with all his might. Brothers;
brotherly love. They are such good friends and I'm thankful for them!
They are two of the BEST things I've ever done, second to marrying their
Dad! I thank God with all my heart for creating them!

3. I'm thankful for my husband being my best friend and always being
there for me. Yesterday I had a Dr appt. I have a bulging disk in my
neck that bothers me now and then. Lately, my lower legs started
feeling kinda numb and really weird. Yesterday it was bad and the
doctor got me right in. Turned out to be nothing serious, just
related to those goofy discs but, while I sat there in one of
patients rooms; someone knocked and the door opened.
There stood a nurse who'd led my HUSBAND to the room I was in. He just showed
up out of the blue! I had no idea he was coming but he was
worried about me and drove over! I'm so blessed to have
someone who looks out for me, ... someone who loves
me- unconditionally, no matter what.

4. I'm thankful for vine ripened tomatoes. Might sound very trivial to you-
but... ohmigosh are they deeeeelicious! Deep RED, perfect texture,
bite into it- with real tomatoey flavor... juicy- drip off your chin,
TOMATO
MMMMMM!

5. I'm incredibly thankful that God's been speakin to me so loud and clear.
Today, I went to jail for prison ministry. Yall it was incredible!
As I sat in my truck parked in front of the jail; I waited for thee other
ladies to get there. I grabbed my bible and asked God to give me somethin
out of His word because I was a little nervous and apprehensive? I opened
my bible to:
Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yeah I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:13 "For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee."

Then I turned the page and this is what God gave me:
Isaiah 42: 6- 9 "I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house." I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold the former things are come to pass and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them."

Isn't that amazing? I was sitting in front of the jail yall! And this is what God gave me!
I could have danced a jig!

Once again it's time to choose a memory verse for the Beth Moore Scripture challenge.
I'm using the verse God gave me out of Isaiah to write on the tablet of
my heart.

Scripture challenge verse 13
Isaiah 41: 13 "For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee."

Hope yall have a great day today, and count your blessings as well.

I truly appreciated the thoughtfulness of Mike to show up, unexpectedly. That caused a tear or two to show up on this end.

Praise Him Sister, dance that jig!!!

He is so worthy of our praises....

Wow girl, such awesome blessings. Loved seeing that photo of your boys and hearing about them. You can just imagine the smile on your face as you talk about them. What a joy. Your precious man sure does love and cherish you...what a beautiful thing that you don't take that for granted. You two are so blessed to have one another. I got chills reading the scripture the Lord gave you as you sat outside that jail!!! Wow! I'd love to hear more about your experience there. Enjoy those tomatos, friend! You make them sound wonderful (even to someone who's not that crazy for 'em!)

Happy 4th of July Weekend!

Love & blessings,
Tracy

That is a great list. There is nothing quite like home grown tomatoes. I do that from time to time to surprise my wife. I drop in and just say hi, then take her to lunch.

Hi, Lea,
You are so energetic it makes me tired, but then I'm older than you.

A great list of "Thank You's" to the Father. Wonder if we'll have tomatoes in Heaven? It won't matter so long as we are all there. Just think we will get to meet all our blogging friends when we get to Heaven. I just know I'll recognize you immediately.

You are truly blessed with a great husband and two sons who care about you and each other and love God also. Of course I have a great husband also and two wonderful daughters.

My blog is fixed. God answered our prayers. I don't know what I did except pull up last week's Thankful Thursday and republished it. I honestly do not remember if I did anything to the post. I'm just so thankful it's back to normal.
Luv u lots,
AliceE.

Love your blog. Thanks for your sweet comments. It's so uplifting to join together, by whatever means, in the name of the Lord. I miss fishing. Your boys made me want to be there and share in the fun. Sounds like there's never a dull moment around your house. Praise God for these days!
