Word ~FiLLed~ Wednesday *His Favor Refreshes*

Greetings and Holykisses!

Happy Word filled Wednesday!
Last week I shared with yall, that I'd been hunting a vintage chalkboard. As I walked into a Thrift shop; I spied an old painting that I thought "looked" like thee inspiration I'd seen in a Life Beautiful magazine. ~ I finished it yesterday and decided to use it for today's wfw picture, and verse.
Here it was, in the state I found it in. It had some damaged areas, but the paint ended up covering up most of it. I like things to be a "little shabby" anyways.
I didn't prime it or anything. Just taped it off, and put a "light" first coat. Then painted it two more times, trying to keep it pretty even. After it dried, and I took the tape off; I found that I'd not matched the tape to the frame very evenly so I touched it up with the chalkboard paint and a tiny brush. Afterwards, you couldn't even tell. Then, gave the frame a fresh coat of stain with an old rag.

The hanger was broken, but a new piece of wire, and a staple gun, took care of that. Time will tell how well it "wears." I intend to give it a good workout!
Last night, a storm was brewing at dusk. Isn't this ~angel~ in the clouds beautiful?!!
This is a closeup. I don't take very good pictures in rain and darkness, but .... do you see what I see????????????

Have a glorious day!
Angels are watching over us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "For He will give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." Psalm 91:11

" When the King smiles there is life; His favor refreshes like a spring rain." Prov 16:15

Your post fills me with delight! Your frame makes me think of how God takes us and makes us into something beautiful and useful for His service. It also makes me think about our sin and how He wipes the slate clean when we confess our sin. Blessings and holy kisses to you!

WOWOWOWOWOW! How long have I been away from my blog reading? I missed so many of your posts. I enjoyed sitting and "catching up" with you. I'm sipping on some coffee my daughter made for me before she left for school. She wanted to make sure that I could use the mug she gave me for Mother's Day. =] It has a Live, laugh, love quote on it.
Anyway, I love the chalkboard. I am now adding that to my wishlist of finds.
I'm glad that you had a nice day with your boys and family and I'm sorry for the ache you have for your sweet momma. I don't think that it can or even should ever go away. My momma lives all the way in Washington state and I miss her terrible. We have gotten closer over the years though through phone calls. Bless you, Sweet Lea. Hugs to you!

Did you think I forgot you today? I actually went out of the house for the afternoon. Visited my sister-in-law who had surgery Monday and went shopping with my husband. I had some birthday money and it was burning a hole in my pocketbook. I'm also having problems with my blog and my whole system. Say a pray that God will heal my computer.
Now some people may think that's a little far out but if we can't believe Him for these kind of things how can we believe for healing. Anyway I liked your chalkboard. You did a good job and it looks great.
Bless you, From my heart to yours, AliceE.

I really really love that idea for the chalkboard. I've added a large picture to my Thrift Store List. Hopefully, I'll get that done.

Those clouds are amazing!

Loved your sharing, the Word and the photos! Beautiful. You know you have the heart of GOD, you take old things and make them new and beautiful without making too many changes to them. You are your Father's (Abba's) child.

Love you.
