Thankful Thursday and Scripture Challenge #8

Thankful Thursday at Truth 4 the Journey

Greetings and Holykisses this beeeeeeeeeeeeeautiful Thankful Thursday!
I just came in from doing morning chores. Had to turn the ducks and chicklets out to free range and let the big chickens out as well. Two hens are setting for sure, and another is thinking about it! It takes 21 days for chicken eggs to hatch and we should be half way there. Also I noticed one cow is off by herself. She's gotta be close to calving.... maybe today's the day?! (update: today "is" the day..... a bouncing baby girl!!!!! THANK YOU LORD!)

My new heart is soaring this morning! God's so good; so let's get to thankin Him!

  1. Thanks Abba Father for givin me a new heart-- IT BEATS FOR YOU!
  2. Thank You Holy Spirit for livin in me-- I WILL LIVE FOR YOU!
  3. Thank You Jesus for dying for me-- I TAKE UP MY CROSS AND WILL FOLLOW YOU!
  4. Thank You Most High God -- I SERVE YOU!
  5. Thank You Almighty God for your living word-- I WANT TO KNOW YOU MORE!
Thank you Father God for all thee awesome things you do in my life. Thank you for lovin me inspite of all the times I mess up, and let you down. Thanks for showing me areas in my life that could use a little changing. I want my life to be pleasing to you. You've blessed me with the most wonderful husband in the whole world; thanks for protecting him through the storm. My heart leaped last night when he told me he had church in his office with a few other guys. Thanks for givin him that Lord, and giving him opportunity! Our kids...I just love em all so much Lord! I know you have great plans for Trent; Thy will be done in his life. Thanks for the time we shared at lunch together. Thanks for my Tony moments this week- he went out of his way for me... and it really touched my heart. Thy will be done in his life Lord. Thanks for my Mickaella; she's great blessing to me. Thy will be done in her life. Thanks for our home sweet home with more laundry to fold and dishes in the sink to wash.
My cup
overflows.
I am
so
blessed.

"I will praise You as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands."
Psalm 63: 4- scripture challenge #

Sounds like you've had a very "Thankful Thursday". That blesses me.

We are supposed to be at my oldest daughter's in Virginia Beach but our van started acting up yesterday before we even got out of town. My husband had just spent a good bit having it worked on but he did not want to drive 6 hrs not knowing if the van would make it so we came back home and he took it back to be looked at. They aren't sure what the problem is. While my husband was waiting on them he got a call that a music place where he had put one of his pianos had been sold the piano(praise God) so he's having to deliver it today. Our grandchildren are in Virginia and are getting a little homesick. We may still go but say a prayer for us. He may be keeping us at home for a reason.

One of my precious older friends died yesterday, but she had so many problems and was diagnosed with cancer two weeks ago and only gave her about two months to live. Sometimes God's timing is not our timing and the doctor's don't know everything. She is at peace now and not suffering and one day I will see her again. I did get to talk with her on the phone about a week ago and she was in good spirits.

I am so thankful that God took care of your husband. I don't know what i would do if anything happened to mine. We all have a lot to be thankful for.
Blessings,
AliceE. :)

Oh dear.
I've been so upset and frustrated about some things the past few days, I forgot it was Thankful Thursday. =0(

Can't say I'm feeling very thankful yet, but we do have a lot to be thankful for.
I'd better go write about that.

blessings and thanks,
Barbara Jean

Your Thankful Thursday moved me! Each thanks followed by a word of commitment. God you are so good! May they not just be words that are spoken on our blogs, but may each one draw us closer to you.
